My self-summary
Update: my dance card is basically full. This profile is at least six months out of date. So I wouldn't bother messaging me if I were you.

Some important facts:
I put "bisexual" because "Kinsey 1 or 2ish" wasn't an option. But I am rather more enthused about women.
I put "male" because "boy most of the time but really likes girl clothes" wasn't an option.
And there wasn't even a box for "polyamorous" or "actually quite kinky (switch, since you ask)". Bah!

Needless to say, if any of those things bothers you in the slightest you might want to go look at someone else.

I'm also cheeky, self-critical, silly and vain. Hopefully you see those as positives. Occasionally I might say something smart.
What I’m doing with my life
I recently left the longest relationship of my life (12 years!) So, umm, sorting out what I'm doing with my life is important. Trying to get healthier and do more things outdoors. Figuring out who I really am, that sort of trite nonsense ;)

Speaking of relationships, I am seeing someone lovely, but long distance. I mentioned the poly thing already, right?
I’m really good at
Dressing up.
Cooking (veggie, and only when I'm in the mood).
Dancing (badly).
The first things people usually notice about me
If I'm in girl mode that's usually enough to get people's attention.

Otherwise, am I that noticeable? Maybe. I can be a bit exhibitionist sometimes. I might look like a lot of people's idea of a gay guy maybe?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I read lots, in a fairly undirected and random fashion. Science fiction was my first love, but these days I'm all over the place.

Films: Yes, those are a thing, aren't they? I sometimes enjoy them, but I mostly see them because my friends drag me out. To pick three at random, I liked Run Lola Run, Kaboom and Primer.

TV: Comedy, lightweight panel shows, that sort of thing. God this is making me sound shallow.

Music: In a lot of ways I'm stuck in 1991. Bleepy rave nonsense. I am starting to accept that I'm not down with the kids any more.

Food: Veggie, strong flavours.

I don't think this section tells you anything very useful about me. Go read the questions!
Six things I could never do without
A smartphone.
Bouncy music.
Physical contact.
...and various things that are probably too x-rated to put here.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Geeky stuff. I'm quite a geek, in a "argues about type systems" way, more than a "watches Doctor Who" way. Doctor Who is OK though.
On a typical Friday night I am
Still me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not going to admit it here! Talk to me.
You should message me if
Umm, you're interested? I'm pretty bad at initiating contact, partly out of a hopefully crazy but still hard to get rid of fear of being That Guy.
