My self-summary
I'm happy with how things turned out so far. Life is good. I'm looking for an optimistic gentleman with a sense of adventure and big plans for life!
Please possess a bachelors degree in something-anything! - and a valid passport. You'll never know where we'll end up til they're checking our papers at the border.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a good, stable career that keeps me on the road a bunch, but when I have a solid month or two at home, I'm fostering dogs. I have an MFA in writing, therefore I'm always composing something in my head and finding a market for it. I'm getting my private pilot's license and hoping to get the band back together. Just got back from visiting China and Hong Kong, and I'm assembling the rest of my travel roster for this year. Next month Scotland. Come with me! Let's have an adventure!
I’m really good at
doing accents, inventing Bond villains that never existed, making up random people on the street's back stories just by looking at them, making obscure movie/music references, and doing impressions of animals.
The first things people usually notice about me
The hair. It has a mind of its own!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm sure what I like is no longer hip or cool. I'm stuck in the '90's. Or the 70's. Or the 40's. And this strange period in the 00's when music was slightly interesting again and not yet over engineered. Some favorites: Mad Men, Gilmore Girls, Bill Maher, Ancient Aliens, GoT, Woody Allen, Cohen Bro's films, Quentin Tarrantino, Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank, Dean, Thelonious Monk, classic soul, Billy Joel, I'm all over the place. Mostly read nonfiction and political fodder. News channel junkie. I write nonfiction, memoir and opinion, but lately I've turned to a genre I'm calling absurdist gender bender fiction. Yes, I created a genre. Why not?
Six things I could never do without
Friends
Good food, wine and whiskey
Intimacy
A reasonable amout of money
The ability to drop everything and fly to Rome on a moment's notice
Damn! That's only 5. Obviously I'm not always good at following directions...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Real estate and renovation. I like playing real-world Monopoly. Are you handy? Do you have a portfolio of your own? Let's play!
On a typical Friday night I am
On my sofa watching Bill Maher, wondering if the 12th season of Ancient Aliens will ever go into production. I like to go out during the week. Happy hour is my favorite hour!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I still think I'm gonna be a rock star someday.
You should message me if
You are an employed college graduate who lives in the City of Philadelphia. Lives in Philly. Not works in Philly but lives somewhere else or "is in Philly all the time". Seems basic, right?

Please do not contact me if you are separated or aren't over your last relationship.
