My self-summary
A mix between an eternal optimist, a down-to-earth pragmatist, and a hopeless romantic.

I believe a well rounded person should be able to carry an intellectual conversation as well as tear up the dance floor.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm trying my best to live a good life: be self-aware, be kind, surround myself with great people, be present, and appreciate all the beautiful little moments in life.

Work stuff: In 2012, I quit my corporate strategy / management consulting career in Toronto and took the plunge into entrepreneurship. I also moved halfway around the world to live in Asia while bootstrapping my business. A few years later, I'm now the co-owner of 2 profitable e-commerce businesses. I initially pursued entrepreneurship after reading "The Four Hour Work Week" and thought that's what I wanted. But now that "The Four Hour Work Week" is within reach, I realize I actually want to work on things I find interesting/meaningful.

So I moved to SF, learned to code (HackReactor) and am now working as a software engineer at a startup - soaking up the knowledge for my next venture.
I’m really good at
Karaoke? ... I wanna say Karaoke, even though that's not really true.
The first things people usually notice about me
is my optimism. =]

My list of podcasts
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The psychology of happiness, mindfulness, finding meaning in the work you do, and all that deep shit.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, at a restaurant, at a bar, listening to some live music, or exploring something new.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I own an online condom store. No joke!
