My self-summary
Pretty good on paper...better in person. I've been told I'm a great listener, am very thoughtful and caring, and am not easily angered or upset. People tend to find me funny, which I think is a good thing. I like to be active; I run, play basketball and softball, and get to the gym every chance I get--Nothing clears my head after a long day like a good workout. I love traveling, learning about the world and other cultures; I make sure to be on a plane somewhere as often as possible. Recently, I visited Istanbul and Beirut…where my silly dancing skills were lauded by the locals. And, I just got back from safari in Tanzania. I appreciate time to myself but am happiest spending time with family and good friends, chatting about life, over good food, drinks.
Also, I like to cuddle (my friends are completely useless in this department). If you aren't willing to share an oversized chair with me while eating popcorn and watching a movie, then I'm probably not your guy.
What I’m doing with my life
I work at a big law firm and enjoy it for many reasons (really). Apart from working with very smart people -- it gives me an opportunity to do a lot of pro bono work in criminal law--my true passion.
I’m really good at
staying calm in tense situations; Charades; hitting the target on a dunk tank; making others laugh, usually at my own expense.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Catch 22, Great Gatsby, Crime and Punishment, East of Eden
I also love the news. I'd read the newspaper cover-to-cover every day if I had the time--international, politics and sports being my favorite sections. Oh, and Dilbert, I enjoy Dilbert.

Play: Macbeth

Movies: Batman (original with Michael Keaton, of course); Godfather; Love Actually; Serendipity; Any 80s, early 90s action movie; On the Waterfront

TV: Don't watch much, but when I do it's probably: Charlie Rose; PBS NewsHour; the Mets; Curb; Seinfeld (it comforts me); 80s sitcoms.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What super powers I want; finding the perfect prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich; whether my family and friends are happy; politics.
On a typical Friday night I am
out of work and excited.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I enjoy listening to Whitney Houston while cleaning my apartment. Her death was difficult for me.
