So.....I'm Ben. Not having a ton of luck on this site, but may just be taking a wrong approach. That said, I'll just try and be as succinct as possible. As there is plenty of information to be gleaned further down the page, I'll skip the boring stuff here and put out a silly little PSA of sorts instead.
If you're here because I sent you some random-ass "Hi there!" type message, that's because you did a spectacular job of catching this guys attention. Which is not particularly easy to do with generically framed boxes of information that don't really lend themselves to the "sparks flying" aspect of relationships. But I digress. In hopes of not coming off as some condescending douche, I'll just say nice work. Imagine a high-five here (I do those a lot). Hopefully you're here reading this, and the sentiment is mutual. If so.....let's talk. Maybe at some point, real life high fives will ensue.
If you're here because OKC sent you here and thinks we may click....I'm sorry, their matching system seems slightly askew from what I've seen so far. BUT! I am a real person, I do check this thing pretty regularly, and am (Oh my god, wait for it....) actively looking for someone to be partners in crime with. No felonies though. Also, not really hoping that phrasing to be taken literal. Just felt the need to clarify as sarcasm and deadpan humor tend not to translate well via the interweb.
Movies-All time favorites are probably Super Troopers and Waiting (can you tell I've probably spent too much time in food-service yet?). As trips to the theatre are concerned, I'm down for pretty much whatever looks awesome at the time.
Music-Won't spend a ton of time listing bands, but the ones I seem to always come back to are Thrice, Streetlight Manifesto, and Strung Out. That said, I think I'll just throw out bands catching my attention periodically in hopes of someone messaging me with a "Hey! I think those guys are great, too! Let's talk on it!" (Don't judge, a guy can dream right?)
Bands for the week of 3/25: Sevendust (will be attending their show on 4/2), Foals, Frank Turner, and Local Natives
