My self-summary
Update: I recently got a new opportunity that is taking me out to Seattle. Moving in 2 weeks. Bye, Felicia.

I am one of the few that can proudly say that I am a Charlotte native. I was born and raised in the very tiny town of Troutman (I typically just refer to this as the Lake Norman area because most people have no idea what Trout-huh? is). I went to school in Charlotte and am now working in Davidson. Needless to say I love the area; although, living in a big city has crossed my mind on several occasions- I just can’t seem to take the plunge and leave this beautiful place I call home. (See above- I took the plunge, wish me luck)

My family, friends and dog (yes, my dog is a human-don’t judge) form the foundation of my life; I am so fortunate for each and every one of them.

By day, I hunt for early talent to fill our intern and development program needs. By night, I hunt for bad guys and save the world...or just go to the gym then sleep.

In my spare time, which is usually just the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends whether that is staying in to watch a movie or heading out on the town. I appreciate small, dive “chill” bars as opposed to “jersey” type dance clubs- I’d rather not fist pump and dub step all night. I consider myself a little artsy/crafty. There are several nights that I’d prefer to stay in with a bottle of wine, blank canvas and paint and pretend to be Picasso.

I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.
What I’m doing with my life
What am I doing with my life?

I’m really good at
(Like most women) stalking pinterest and attempting DIY projects and recipes, planning my next big party or event and pretending to be a fashion guru.

Hitting the snooze button several times and waking up last minute. Drinking coffee...and wine and beer. Belting out songs in the car or shower (I’m actually a really terrible singer, but that doesn’t stop me)! Going to concerts. Going to brunch. Going on an adventure. Throwing on my forever lazy (yep, I own an adult onesie-haters gonna hate) and lying on the couch with a good book or a good movie.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd like to say my big, beautiful blue eyes...but if we're being real, it's probably my butt. I think a certain rapper may have rapped about me once a while back? I don't know that for sure, though.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What is it about a beautiful sunny afternoon, with the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, that makes you want to get drunk? And after you're real drunk, maybe go down to the public park and stagger around and ask people for money, and then lay down and go to sleep. -Deep Thoughts with Jack Handey
On a typical Friday night I am
playing Old Maid with my nan....

Kidding! Either out with friends/co-workers or in doing something crafty.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I just had breakfast for dinner.

I've never skydived before, but I've zoomed in on google maps really fast once. #boom
You should message me if
-you're not a douche bag; I've dated enough of them for a lifetime. Seriously.

-you didn't take your photo in front of your bathroom mirror, especially if your mirror is not clean (that's the worst).

-you don't wear Affliction, Ed Hardy and bedazzled jeans (do people even wear Ed Hardy anymore). #woof

-you have something more to say than just "Hello, how are you?"
