My self-summary
I'm 26 years old and am trying to enjoy this journey called life the best that I can. I graduated college with a degree in Criminology (think criminal justice, with more of an emphasis on the sociological aspect of crime). I have a loving family who is always there, for the good times and the bad times, a group of irreplaceable friends, and I'm hoping to find a partner to enjoy life the best that we can.

People tend to describe me as very laid back, but motivating. I have an enormous amount of patience, but I tend to be very direct with people. I don't beat around the bush, so to say. If there is a problem, I'd rather discuss it outright than hold it inside. Loyalty and dedication are extremely important to me. As long as I am treated with respect and honesty, I promise that you can depend on me.

On a less serious note, I love people with a good sense of humor. I want someone who can make me laugh as much as I make them laugh. I believe the quickest way to someones heart is to be able to genuinely make them laugh and smile.

All this being said, who I am can not be summarized over this. There is far more to me than you know, and I am confident that you will be pleasantly surprised in what I have to offer!
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a Security Coordinator for a major Insurance Company. I have met many interesting people through it and am sure that I will continue to meet many more. When I'm not working, I hope to be spending time with friends (and hopefully you!), either hanging out or going out into the city. When I'm at home, you'll find me either on netflix, listening to music, or spending time with the family.
I’m really good at
I've been drumming since I was in the fourth grade, so that is definitely my major talent. People also say I'm well-spoken and that I would make a good teacher. I also love having debates and discussions about philosophy, current events etc.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically, people tend to notice my eyes and eye lashes. They are as captivating now as they were since the day I was born. Recently, I have grown a beard and nearly everyone I know has had good things to say about it, so I guess I'll keep it a while. My laugh has also been described as infectious. If you can really get me to laugh, you're in for a good time.

I have also been described as trustworthy. People tend to open up very easily, and when I ask why, they say it's because I am so easy to trust. That means a lot to me, and I'm sure it will mean the world to you as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love movies. I want to watch movies that bring me to the edge of my seat. I want movies that make me think, and make me feel. A good movie is one that keeps you entertained through out. A great movie is one that sticks in your head for years to come. If you want to know more about my taste in movies, ask me!

I don't watch too much television anymore. That doesn't mean, however, that I don't LIKE to watch it. LOST is the greatest show I have ever seen. I would say Criminal Minds is probably the most consistent show on television as far as quality goes. I've always had a thing for crime shows. Introduce me to some new shows! It's rather terrifying just how much time can fly when you watch a good show, and I'd love to have someone to watch it with.

I love music, and am always willing to listen to new things. I'd say I enjoy alternative rock more than any other genre, but honestly, there is music of every kind that sounds good to me. Growing up during the 90's obviously means there is a special spot in my heart for 90's music. Feel free to ask me about specifics on my musical interests.

Food- I'm not a picky eater at all. Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, the typical American food. I like it all. I'm open to trying new things. There are countless cuisines out there that I have yet to experience and would love to try with you!
The six things I could never do without
The feeling of laying down after a long day of work
The satisfaction you get from the first sip of an ice cold beer
Love - I don't think anything can feel as good or as bad as this right here
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I tend to think a lot about the week ahead of me - things I can look forward to, things I need to prepare for, people I'm going to see, and just trying to keep a positive attitude.
On a typical Friday night I am
It really depends. I always want to go to a bar in Boston at least once during the weekend. If I had to choose though, I would pick a house party over a bar any day. Nothing beats a good house party.

I don't mind staying in every now and then. It can be nice to just sit back, relax, watch some movies and just hang out. A night in is a lot better when I have you there with me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I took part in telling a family that their baby had died while I was on a police Ride-A-Long. It was my second time on a ride-a-long and I was unlucky enough to have to take part in that. It was an awful thing to experience, but enlightened me and gave me a glimpse of what police officers have to deal with every day.
