My self-summary
Welcome! You have found a wild Brian! Also known as "A solution looking for a problem" " A philosopher without a philosophy" "Church Plumber" (no i'm not a plumber that is more of loose adaptation). I drift between lazy and go getter, trying to find the happy medium now. I am a veteran of the U.S. military, now enjoying civilian life. Trying to be the best version of myself when it's no fun being the worse version. Really I am a work in progress, but that work is mine to do not anyone else's...besides shouldn't we all be works in progress? Take a chance to get to know me and you might be surprised!
What I’m doing with my life
By day a manager for a bank. Helping people to ensure that the people have a good plan to accomplish their dreams! It's not always good but the good customers are more frequent than the bad ones. actually pretty thankful for that. Once I'm out of work, my writing career is taking up much of my focus. I just bought a big whiteboard for home just to try to help with me getting ideas out of my head.
I’m really good at
Talking to people. I'm largely an introvert, which doesn't mean that I don't like talking to people, it means that talking to people for long amounts of time is especially draining. My job requires that I talk to people ALOT and it is one of the better qualities I bring to my job.
The first things people usually notice about me
My beard. It used to be bigger and more on the homeless side after I separated from the military. Next would obviously be my winning personality :)

The six things I could never do without
Really the only thing I couldn't do without would be my pen and notebooks.
1) Notebook
2) Pens
3) Pizza
4) Family
5) Alone time
6) My Bed
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Stories, what makes a good story? Pacing, the order in which information is revealed, dialogue, development. Religion, because people seem to care about it. Also I think about the things I want. I'm trying to focus on letting my goals direct my day so I can start crushing life more!
On a typical Friday night I am
One of two things 1) out at a friends house for games (carcassone, splendor, seven wonders, king of tokyo) or 2) in with music and/or movies working on my writing. Hopefully if I meet the right person we can add a third option to this list!!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can sing all of My Way, Nice and Slow, and You Make Me Wanna by Usher without any music all the way through. Just ask my employees! Also I really love the movie Love Actually. Also I was deployed with the National Guard for 9 months.
You should message me if
I'm a simple guy. Just looking for an independent woman with her own interests and opinions. We don't have to agree but I do think it is important that we be able to talk about things. Really just looking for that person who can be my best friend.
