My self-summary
I'm just finishing up my first year of Graduate School at The University of Western Ontario. The last year has been a pretty nice change of pace. I left the professional world, moved up to Canada, and went back to higher education. Before moving here I worked in PR at a major art museum, but working in an office full-time just wasn't for me. Instead, I decided to pursue my performance dreams (I'm a classically trained baritone) and am now half way towards a Master's of Music.

I workout on a regular basis, mostly at the crack of dawn before I get the day started. For some reason, it's easier to get to the gym at 5:00 am than at 6:00 pm. Very strange.

I'm some strange combination of an old soul who is also a child at heart. I'm mature, and pretty much always have been, but I don't believe people ever have to fully grow up. I love to laugh and my smile is probably the most sincere thing about me. I've also been told that it's infectious so be prepared for that if we ever meet in person.
What I’m doing with my life
Finishing up my the first year of my Master of Music program at the University of Western Ontario and thinking about my next step when that's over.
I’m really good at
I'm a great listener, and to go along with that, I tend to be really good at offering advice. I'm the type of friend that everyone comes to in their time of need, and I'm always happy to help.
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh, it's pretty unique but most people enjoy it, and my smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I'm just not much of a reader. It's never been something I've done for fun. I's disappointing. Lol.

Movies: Misery is one of my favorites.
Comedy is my favorite genre. Anytime that I'm feeling down and out, a good comedy film is sure to put a smile on my face. There is nothing better than a good laugh to brighten my day. Horror/Thrillers are a close second. They're usually so awful that I laugh. :)

Shows: American Horror Story, American Dad, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Glee (though it's gone downhill), Pretty Little Liars (I know, shameful), Parks and Recreation, The Mindy Project, the list could go on. I also own every season of Will & Grace and am always looking for new anime to enjoy.

Music: P!nk, India.Arie, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Florence & the Machine, Owl City, Ed Sheeran, etc. etc.
The six things I could never do without
The Gym
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. I'm willing to admit that one of my personal flaws is that I tend to focus too much on the future without appreciating the present. It's a gift and a curse; a double edged sword. I will say that my ability to live in the present and take things as they come has gotten better, especially now that I've quit my professional job and am back in school.
On a typical Friday night I am
Honestly, I don't really have a set routine. As I write this I'm just enjoying some quality solo time watching American Dad! on Netflix. Haha. Sometimes I have to dedicate Friday to studies, other times I'm up for getting drinks or a bite to eat with friends. I'm up for most anything so long as it's enjoyable.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love anime and have a pretty decent home collection. it's an escapism for me and always has been, though I'm not a cosplayer. Haha. Look it up if you're unsure as to what it is.
