It's challenging and tedious at times because I'd like to be able to jump right to the "being comfortable around the person" stage. You never know when that's going to happen but then one day it just kicks in. That's my favorite stage of knowing someone new, not the initial awkward part, lol, but I know the initial part is unavoidable. So...I'm always willing to take a risk.
I'm pretty laid back and I also have a more serious side when needed, especially raising my kids. I want them to be well-rounded and both of mine are so different from each other.
Here are a few preferences of mine:
-Please be in or relatively close to the east valley.
-I like a woman who has a dry sense of humor and can dish it out as well as she can take it.
-I like my life as uncomplicated as possible. I'm not materialistic and prefer the same in my partner.
-I like a woman who enjoys spending time together without having to be around tons of people all the time, however, the occasional party at a friend's, or even hosting a good party can be a blast.
-I'm not the type of person that needs to be on the go all the time. I enjoy my down time because between my job and raising my kids, life is complicated enough. In other words, I don't mind homebodies at all. :)
-When I am in the mood to get out I do enjoy sporting events, concerts, movies, dinner out, etc. Weekend getaways are also enjoyable when time and money permit.
Raising two great kids
I don't mind going out to movies. I like several genres.
I've always been a huge Simpsons fan
I've been known to binge Game of Thrones (only 10 episodes per season? Bummer!), and various shows on Netflix. I love Bill Maher, too!
I don't have cable and can't stand commercials or reality TV.
I've been practicing cooking and am trying to expand my skills and teach my kids at the same time. I want them to know how to cook real food when they leave the nest.
