Like most it seems in the bay area, I'm in software. I do think I have the best job in technology, one that gives me a tremendous amount of freedom to push the envelope both personally and professionally.
I try to organize opportunities for great people to meet other great people. Each year I help organize a summer camp for twenty-somethings. Good things never have to end. And I'm working on a couple projects that will hopefully do some good for the world, but recognize they're a long shot.
I love great food + wine and will pretty much fall for the local delicacy. I've been know to drag people on a couple hour detour to find a great BBQ joint in Texas, spend a day tasting seafood shaqs on Cape Cod or wander around the alleys of old Delhi to find a 1000 year old family owned restaurant. While great can be 4 stars, I find more often is small and local.
If you have some extra free time on your hand.
If you have thoughts on awesome spontaneous travel.
