I'm a producer for a sports network so it's fair to say I'm a sports fan (and reigning fantasy football champion). Philly fan all the way (for better or for worse).
But wait, I have other interests! I'm a versatile SOB. I'm handy with spreadsheets and databases in general. (I've been calling myself Data Lord at work.) Also a big comic book fan (primarily Marvel - I've seen all the MCU movies and shows) and I try to read a lot (lately it's been a mix of classic sci-fi and history).
So yeah, I'm super interesting.
Also I'm INTJ, if you're into that sort of thing.
Okay, that's probably not the first thing people notice but it's one of the more amusing things.
Movies: Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, 12 Monkeys, Groundhog Day, The Royal Tennenbaums (pretty much anything by Wes Anderson), Mystery Men, Avengers (okay, most of the MCU), This Is Spinal Tap (and any Christopher Guest mockumentaries)
Shows: The Venture Brothers, 30 Rock, The Simpsons (well, the old ones, back when it was still good), Futurama, Breaking Bad, The League, Game of Thrones, Archer, Rick and Morty
(Seriously, what would you do if you were stuck in the Renaissance? Would you try and find a Leonardo da Vinci or a Francis Bacon and explain (in what to them would appear to be extremely broken English) what happened, tell them about relativity theory, the New World, etc? Or would you suck it up and try to survive as...whatever people did back then? I give myself 10 minutes before I'm decried as a witch.)
The beauty of it is it's a really weird mix of books. Sports, graphic novels, military history (several books on Mongols...I like Mongols), and a reference book thrown in. Oh, and the book that the Ancient Aliens show is based on.
Or if you found any of the above entertaining
