My self-summary
I was a sinner bound for Hell until I was ten when I realized that Jesus Christ, God's own Son, died for me and I gave my entire life to Him. When I was in high school I felt God's calling on my life to enter the ministry. I really love working with youth. I graduated from college in December 2007 Cum Laude with a major in Christian Education and a minor in Bible. I graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2010 with a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry. I'm currently looking for a full time job in the ministry. I'm not perfect. I'm still a sinner. I try not to sin but as a sinful human being we are born into it and are pron to it our entire life. I thank God that His grace covers all my sins, past, present, and future!

Yeah, I know. I sound like some type of religious fanatic, freak, and/or nut. I'm really not though. I just have a passion for God and compassion for others. I've been told I'm a pretty cool person to hang out and/or talk with. But I'll leave that up to you to find out.

Being a guy, I do stupid things sometimes, but alot of people have told me that I am pretty mature for my age. I was never really into partying during my time in college. I was the more studious type, although I do have some pretty funny stories to tell. I can also be pretty sarcastic at times.

I am very close to my family and would do anything for them.

My parents raised me to be a gentleman so I do still open doors for girls, pull out chairs, etc... Unfortunately people are surprised I act like that. I guess that just shows the regress of chivalry in America. I have also been told that I'm an excellent listener.

I'm pro-life and a young Earth creationist. I'm also a member of the NRA and an Eagle Scout (from back when the Boy Scouts had values). Yeah...I'm a nerd. Don't let my "right wing" values scare you. I'm more open minded than you would think.

Five years ago I lost around 30 pounds after a health scare in the family and have been very athletic ever sense.

Whenever I have a stressful day and pretty much whenever I have the chance I enjoy going to the gym, running, or biking outside. I find working out relaxing. There is no feeling like the kind you get after a good work out. It's kind of like a natural high, especially after a good run. I work out at least 5 days a week and try to go on a long walk every day. I love to run! It's such a great way to relieve stress and reduce anxiety. It's caused me to have two separate knee surgeries within 1 1/2 years from one another but that hasn't slowed me down.

I was born and raised in Tennessee but spent several years in North Carolina.

I enjoy traveling and would love to spend a year exploring the world if I had the time and money.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm currently juggling four part time jobs. I'm working with the Sport's Outreach ministry at my church. I am a personal trainer. I am a small online business owner. I also work as the sole pick-up driver for a local dry cleaning business. Up until last year I volunteered at my church as co-founder, leader, and teacher of the young professionals Sunday school class. Although I felt called into the ministry years ago I am starting to realize how broad the ministry field actually can be. Having four part time jobs is keeping me pretty busy but I keep reminding myself that I won't have to do this for the rest of my life. That one day I'll get the job of my dreams.

I enjoy learning as much as I can about my Lord and Savior, playing guitar, video games, making new friends, making people laugh (especially girls), listening, working out, biking, running, wakeboarding, snowboarding, cliff jumping, going to rock concerts, Parkour etc... Six things I could never do without
1.) My Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ
2.) My Faith
3.) My Family
4.) My Friends
5.) My Church
6.) My Christian brothers and sisters

If you want to get technical, I guess I couldn't go without:

1.) God (no one would exist without Him)
2.) Food
3.) Water
4.) Shelter
5.) Security
6.) Sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
God and how unworthy I am to receive the grace that He has given me. I also think about my future although I try not to let it consume me because, as Christ said, "do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:34)

I also think alot about getting married and having a family of my own. I would love nothing more than to be a husband and father.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm pretty much an open book. Just ask me what you want to know. Just a few things though:

1.) I'm a virgin.
2.) I'm saving myself for marriage.

I also have a pretty interesting bucket list. Below are a few things that I have been able to check off of it.:

1.) Going skydiving (I'm pretty much hooked on it)
2.) High-fiving a monkey
3.) Accidentally cutting my mouth open with a piece of ice
4.) Streaking around my seminary apartment complex
5.) Being one of the first people on the scene of a forest fire and risking my life to put it out (I got offered a job as a volunteer fire fighter later that day.) (The fire was only a few hundred yards from my college and it was traveling in it's direction.)

Below are some of my pet-peeves. (not in any particular order)

1.) People who don't signal while driving
2.) TV preachers and all their false teachings
3.) People who aren't sanitary (i.e. not washing hands after using the restroom, not hygienic in general)
4.) People who control others with their emotions
5.) People who claim they are Christians but don't even try to live like one. (I understand we all make mistakes and give into temptation but it's the people that claim to be Christians yet don't even realize they are not living like one that I'm talking about.)
6.) Arrogant people

My phobias:

1.) Spiders that have the same body type as black widows and/or are in their webs
2.) Old fashioned dolls
3.) Marionette dolls
4.) Clowns
5.) Heights (only when I'm standing on something high up looking down)
6.) Furby (yes, the child's toy)

I'm addicted to working out and I love giving platelets. (never for profit though)
You should message me if
You are a mature Christian woman, who still likes to have fun, who is looking for a life long companion and is not into immature drama. Also, I would prefer that you be in good shape. I greatly respect people who respect and take care of their bodies because chances are if they take care of their bodies they have discipline in other parts of their life as well. (I know that sounds shallow but in no way do I mean it to be.) Or if you just want to chat.
