My self-summary
Me: Midwest transplant who loves Vermont! Nerdy, somewhat outdoorsy, runner, kayaker, snowboarder, XC skier, sometimes biker, sci-fi/fantasy geek, craft beer enthusiast, lover of naps and reading on the porch, always in for a day on the beach, rocks Jimmy Buffett in January, introvert who is also compulsively social (I don't understand it either). My latest achievement is learning to make Key Lime Pie (it's pretty good!) and investing in my own lightsaber.

You: Friendly, laid back, funny, has a good smirk, willing to dance with me even though I'm terrible, able to put up with my seriously picking eating, likes to stay up late. I don't know- I feel like whenever I try to list what I'm looking for in another person it never works. Some people click and some people don't. Let's get a drink and see if we're Legos.
What I’m doing with my life
Working too much, relaxing as much as possible, spending time with friends in both cases. Trying to follow through on my goal of learning French. Failing at learning French.
I’m really good at
Spouting movie quotes
The first things people usually notice about me
My easy smile, awkward humor, and constant nerdiness.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
In terms of books, I read mostly fantasy and sci-fi- Robert Jordan, Jim Butcher, and Terry Pratchett most recently. I just finished The Martian and loved it! My music selection is awfully eclectic, but generally upbeat or relaxed. The last few shows I have been to have been acoustic oriented, but I have been listening to a lot of down-tempo techno lately (say that 4 times fast). In the interest of full disclosure I am an awfully picky eater, but I make up for it by being overly excited about trying different craft beers.
The six things I could never do without
Naps, trips to the beach, good books, nights out, nights in, and good friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I'm making a positive impact on the world. Also what I'm going to do this weekend.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably out with friends celebrating the end of the work week!
