My self-summary
Born and raised in NYC and have always loved this city. I'm willing to try anything once and love adventure or new experiences. I care a lot about social justice work and try to engage in activities that move me. I try to do at least one thing outside my box every month and if it's a quick trip somewhere, even better. I must travel aboard at least once per year.
What I’m doing with my life
I do criminal justice work. It's time consuming, and complicated, but so rewarding. I'm starting to write blogs too.
I’m really good at
Scrabble and math. Almost seems like a perfect combination together. Though the scrabble is more strategy than verbal.
The first things people usually notice about me
that I look younger than my age...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books = To Kill A Mockingbird, Open (Andre Agassi), Homage to Catalonia (any George Orwell), How to Read a Book

Movies/TV = Momento, City of God, Gone Girl (recent, so good), Big Bang Theory, How to Get Away with Murder

Music = I grew up on jazz and hip hop grandfather was a big jazz musician and I'm from BK). But secretly I love everything but country. I also DJ sometimes and do karaoke.

Food = I like to explore new cuisines and make up new food tasting challenges. I eat vegetarian food for lunches and meat dishes other times.

Drink = Why is this not part of the favorites? Manhattans (or any whiskey), good cocktails, good beer.
The six things I could never do without
Other than water, oxygen, enough money to live on (guess I wouldn't be in NYC):

Gym (I have amazing spin and bootcamp instructors at NYHRC)
A job I'm passionate about
Trader Joes (I need the stock before they do public)
My grandmother
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why the F train messes up every morning; the differences between internet dating and meeting people in the real world; what I can do to improve the world, a little bit at a time
On a typical Friday night I am
Bootcamp class and then whatever comes along (pre-planned or not)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm conflicted about what the current NYC is, but I still love her
You should message me if
the necessary stuff: you’ve got your life moving in a good direction and care about something that's really important to you.

bonus points! you’ve: traveled outside of the US and Europe (+5); enjoy reading (+10); have embarrassing stories from one -- or every -- night you’ve hit the town (+25!); have saved a human (or animal) from dying (+50, I know should be way more points); still laugh at Seinfeld (+1,000); you don’t take yourself too seriously (+100,000); and are willing to taste test anything i might cook from scratch (+my lifelong gratitude); you believe in meeting up instead of sending a thousand messages back and forth on this site (+1 quadrillion)
