My self-summary
Let me start by saying this: I have a job, I own a car (a cool one!) and I don't live with my parents. I also believe that chivalry isn't dead. I guess that sets me apart from other guys around here.

I am a legit good guy. Originally from the Bay Area. I've lived in Phoenix (for college), LA, and now in Vegas since April of '13. I live and work downtown (DTLV!). I have a job that I love, but that's been my top priority for too long. I'm also working to get back in shape. It's funny how moving to Las Vegas has improved my social life, but cut down on my gym time :)

UPDATE 9/27/16: Down 74 pounds since last summer! Who knew that working out and watching what you eat actually works? 😉

I'm looking for a girlfriend, ideally. No offense to anyone that's into dating lots of different people, but that's not me. I want to meet someone who's looking for a real, adult relationship. I'm fun, easy to get along with and try to make myself (and people around me) laugh at all costs. I'm looking for someone that is outgoing, a little adventurous, kind of a girly-girl, but not afraid to go to a ball game. Most importantly, I'm looking for someone that has a positive outlook and just a good vibe (I hate that word, but you know what I mean). Negative Nelly's need not apply! I'm past the point in my life where I just want to go to a bar and meet some random girl. I'm looking for something more than that.

In short, I have my shit together. It would be great if you did, too :)
What I’m doing with my life
So here's the deal. I work for a video game publisher. I promise, it's a real job :). It started as my first job after college, that has turned into an actual career. I'm lucky to be one of those people that actually enjoys going to work in the morning. My priorities are pretty simple: work my butt off at work while I'm there, and try to have as much fun as possible when I'm not.
I’m really good at
Easy, making people laugh. Laughter is contagious, and just sitting around shooting the s*** with my friends is tons of fun for me. Sense of humor is literally one of the most important things I look for in other people. If you don't laugh at my jokes, and we can't have fun together, we probably won't click.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm the tallest guy in the room, and it's usually not close.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Just finished "The Wrong Enemy" by Carlotta Gall, about the war in Afghanistan. I don't read very often. But when I do, it's probably going to be non-fiction.

TV - Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Arrested Development (the old ones), Veep, Seinfeld, The Wire (The best show of all time, and please let me know if you'd like to argue this), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Lost, and lots and lots of sports.

Movies - The Godfather, There Will Be Blood, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank, Fargo, Dumb and Dumber, anything with Daniel Day-Lewis.
Music - Foo Fighters, Muse, Kings of Leon, Coldplay
Food - Honestly, just about anything. If you put a gun to my head, I'd say Italian is my fav.
The six things I could never do without
Cell phone - What can I say? I'm one of those people.
Golf Clubs
Steph Curry
Good beer (or Bud Light Lime)
And lately? The gym
I spend a lot of time thinking about
This is such a cliche on a dating site, but it's something like "where are all the normal people?"

I mean, I'm 36. It shouldn't be THAT hard to find a nice, friendly, fun attractive young lady (with a job) to go on dates with, right?
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't really have a typical Friday night. I'm not the kind of person that makes social plans ahead of time. I usually just fly the seat of my pants. I'll usually leave the office, head home to work out, then see what comes up. Sometimes that might be dinner, drinks with friends, or something super casual. Who knows?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a HUGE crush on Kelly Clarkson.

Edit: I'm changing this to Adele. The car karaoke thing she did was awesome. Extra credit to any woman on OKC with a British accent, or who would be willing to occasionally fake a British accent for me :)
You should message me if
Hell, you've made it this far. Why would you read all of this and NOT message me?
