My self-summary
I am originally from Connecticut and came back to DC to finish law school. I've lived in the Baltimore/DC area for over 10 years (with a quick break to live in Charleston for a year). This city never gets old and I still love playing tourist, finding new restaurants, or hanging out with friends at a beer garden. I love to travel and was fortunate enough to be able to spend three months in Europe interning at a law firm and taking some classes.
What I’m doing with my life
I just graduated from law school and I'm interested in maritime law (yes, I've seen Arrested Development - no, that's not why I want to be a maritime lawyer) and people seem to think it's a very odd field to get into. It probably is, but someone has to be a submarine chaser.
I’m really good at
I'm not sure what I'm REALLY good at - I guess I'm pretty handy around the house. What I'm really NOT good at is cooking.

I'm a phenomenal dog mom - just ask me! I have a pug who is the light of my life! Too far? I don't think so.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told I have nice eyes or smile, and most people notice my sarcastic sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't have cable so I binge watch tv series on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. I love movies based on true stories and I'll read almost anything. The one really weird thing I have about food is that I can't eat anything that has been touched by a pickle... eww.
The six things I could never do without
Friends and family (obviously), my dog, my planner, my iPhone, and Carmex b/c I hate chapped lips.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How fortunate I am to have such great people in my life!
On a typical Friday night I am
Visiting with friends, going out to dinner or happy hour, curling up on the couch to watch a movie and going to sleep early. That last one might be lame for a Friday but I'm OK with it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Yeah right... this is the internet after all.
You should message me if
You're funny, intelligent, and chivalrous (I refuse to believe it's dead).
