Official documents say my name is William but there are a lot of nickname options there, and I don't have any preference one way or another, so go crazy. But not too crazy, it wouldn't work if you called me Jeff or something like that.
I absolutely love dogs, and really really want to get one, but my 15 year old feline homie hates dogs, and I'm not going to stress out his final years with that. Do you have a dog? I would love to meet it.
Actually that's part of the reason I'm here, maybe to find people to do interesting things with.
In my spare time, I read books, play video games, and hang out with my cats.
Right now, I don't know what I want to do with my life, so I work retail and try to learn new things here and there to see if anything clicks with me. So far I'm just working on climbing the corporate ladder. Half the people I work with think I would be a great manager, so maybe that's what I'll do with my life.
I spent many of my younger years taking my dad's screwdriver and taking my toys apart, and putting them back together (sometimes I even put them back the right way!) Eventually I started actually knowing what I was doing, and to this day, I like knowing how things work so I can fix them if need be.
I'm also told that I'm really good at hugs.
Science fiction, fantasy, horror...
Shows: Mostly, stuff that makes me laugh. Nonsense animated comedies. Beyond that, I really like the Twilight Zone, Star Trek (Picard!), Farscape, Vikings, Daredevil... X files. My Netflix queue is a mess.
Deicide, Slayer, Decapitated, Amon Amarth, Skeletonwitch, Daath, Sylosis, Cattle Decapitation, Allegaeon, Carcass, Warbringer, Testament... you know. Metal, and various subgenres of metal. I'm not saying I won't listen to anything else, but...
Movies: Event Horizon, Pitch Black, Alien, The Thing, Silence of the Lambs. I don't only like classic horror movies but that's all that's coming to mind right now. I will also admit my soft spot for Disney movies. I can't pick a favorite there.
Food: I love hearty foods. Thick stews, gooey lasagna, Mac and cheese inside a baked potato. Every meal should end with a satisfied groan. So good.
A good book. By extension, my kindle. It has all my favorite books in it, and I usually never leave home without it.
Food! I don't just mean sustenance to survive, I mean, cooking, and sharing a meal with someone.
Quiet, alone time, every once in a while. Woo introverts!
I'll come back and do two more someday.
If not that, then I'm out drinking with friends, most likely until about 3 am.
