My self-summary
It somehow takes me more energy to buy three things from Target than to run three miles.

Some people know how to take apart a bicycle, but I can take apart a roller skate.

I'm the kind of person who gets hungover before they get drunk.

I think Midwest accents are really cute.

Hi! I'm a nonbinary, nonmonogamous queer. (Ze/Zir or They/Them pronouns please and thanks!) I'm looking for good conversation that can turn into dating down the line. I need to have ease of communication with a person before we can have a romantic or sexual relationship. If you are looking for a steamy sexual romance that quickly leads to a wedding, I'm probably not yr queer. But if you want to have conversations that unfold from daily life talk to how we want to change the world, I might be for you. I would also be thrilled to find a running/workout buddy!

I'm open to people of any gender, as long as we can be gay. ;)

Roller derby is a big part of my life. Skating is like therapy to me. I skate with two different recreational leagues regularly, and I train junior derby. Right now I'm working on my fast stops and burst speed, so I can be a better jammer. Hoping to be on a competitive team next season, wish me luck!

I work early and go to bed early. Really early.

I have never been a monogamous soul. I currently have an amazing long distance partner. We see each other about once a month. Update: my partner is moving to the cities in June, maybe two blocks away from me! I'm so excited!!!

Absolutely no:
Straight people
Trump supporters
White people with dreadlocks
"Sapiosexual"
What I’m doing with my life
Currently cooking at a co op and playing roller derby. I try to skate at least twice a week!

I recently started medical transition, and I'm still trying to figure out what I want from my body. Every week I tell myself I'm going to stop, but every week I take my shot anyway.

I love kids and want kids someday in the future, but I'm not sure if it will ever fit into my life. Right now I get my kid fix by training derby youth. I'm especially inspired by trans and queer youth - they just melt my heart!
I’m really good at
I'm really good at caring for the people who are close in my life, petting my grumpy cat in ways she will tolerate, and feeding on positive attitudes!
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm enthusiastic to a dorky degree, but I have a deadpan sense of humor. Sometimes this throws people off?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I get really into a specific thing for a while and then suddenly shift interests with little warning. I used to be super into comics and cartoons but the only ones that really stuck are The Wicked and The Divine and Steven Universe.

I also read and watch sci fi and horror. Please watch bad horror movies with me.

I love Thai food, burritos, and veggie sushi, but will eat pretty much anything vegan. I love Bahn Mis!

I want the darkest beer you can find.
The six things I could never do without
Alone time
Stupid Facebook quizzes
Displays of affection
My roller skates
Floral pants
Chips and salsa
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My place in feminism now that I no longer identify as a woman, how to safely and effectively dismantle capitalism, what my Skyrim wife is doing right now...
On a typical Friday night I am
Derby practice then bed because I work at 6 am on Saturday :/
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've read all of the Twilight books... I am actually the worst feminist ever.
You should message me if
You are queer!!! I don't really respond to straight people, especially men. If your profile lists you as a straight man, I will not return your message. You should probably try messaging actual women who are actually interested in straight men. :)

You want to talk about roller derby or gay cartoons! Or meet up over almond chai! Or go running! Or talk about food systems and how to navigate adulthood with some semblance of ethics and social responsibility.

Let me take you to a roller derby bout! I'll tell you all about strategy and my zillion crushes on skaters.
