My self-summary
I'm energetic, animated, and excitable. My best friend describes me as a golden retriever. I dance a lot. I am solar powered, and thrive in the summer. I love my bicycle, and ride it everywhere. I'm also distractable, amazingly dorky, and somewhat silly.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a BA in German. I'm looking to work with international exchange programs for students or young professionals. Currently, I work with inside sales for a local manufacturing company.
I’m really good at
Speaking German. Native speakers tell me that my accent is almost flawless. I can also play guitar. I can cook a little, too. Oh, and bustin' moves. I can do that pretty well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know.... My hats, maybe? Or maybe that I bust a moves anywhere and everywhere. It's not always pretty.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't watch TV, really... Nor many movies.

I do like radio shows. News stuff, This American Life, Freakonomics, and of course... Welcome to Night Vale.

I like dramas, foreign films, and smart comedies. I don't like horror films (but I'll do an occasional zombie flick).

Music: all over the board. Modest Mouse, Ted Leo, The Clash, Seu Jorge, the Specials, John Lee Hooker, Benny Goodman, Django Reinhardt... I love swing jazz.

As for books... I don't read regularly. I do like reading, though, and take recommendations liberally. Some of my recent favorites are Carl Hiaasin, Johnathan Safran Foer and Kurt Vonegut.

My food tastes are pretty expansive, and I'm usually down to try something new. When I cook, though, it's all about breakfast.
The six things I could never do without
Almost every thing I love to do or need to do to get by involves my legs, so I'll say those. The five other things can be inquired after.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whether Carlos and Cecil will ever see eachother again.

Sustainability, the importance of public transportation, where I want to go next in life, and languages. Also, how weird it is to talk to someone random around town, think they look familiar, then realize you've seen/talked to them on this site.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends and drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have seen a small number of profiles with pictures of people hanging out with alpacas. This makes me indescribably envious of them.
You should message me if
...you want to
I triple-dog dare you!
