My self-summary
Profile v2.0, New and improved for your pleasure.

Hello ladies!

Perfection is astonishing but imperfection is endearing. I'm not perfect (neither are you), but you just may like me anyway.

OK, enough with the self-effacing nonsense.

Bay Area native, but recently moved to the South Bay after spending a decade on the Peninsula. Definitely looking forward to exploring my new surroundings

Think responsibly like an adult; be passionate about life like a kid. It's the little things we geek out over that keep us from being lifeless. Boring is a city in Oregon and I'm far from it, both physically and figuratively speaking.

---
And now a commercial break while you check my mugshots, if you haven't already.

OK, back to it.
---

My awesomeness isn't based on the number of stamps on my passport. I prefer a relaxing night at home with beloved company. Don't get me wrong. There's always time for trips, nights out, concerts and so forth... but in the meantime, let's savor the moment.

Blessed art thou if you read past this point. And be sure to drop me a line. I don't bite... hard. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Changed jobs and working for a growing company. Climbing that corporate ladder, but still looking to enjoy life. Work to live, not live to work.
I’m really good at
taking out my aggression on a heavy bag at kickboxing. Also pretending I'm on MasterChef with the help of Blue Apron
The first things people usually notice about me
Most people gravitate towards my sense of humor. It may take some time to know me, but once you do, the laughs will come with the fury of Dodgeball (if you like Ben Stiller, if not I'm still hilarious!)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
Moving and changing jobs has left little time for literary works, but when I have time, I love to dive into good sci-fi or historical non-fiction.

TV:
My Tivo is chock full of stuff, but my most watched ones are: The Amazing Race, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, The Bachelor (yea I watch it, can't help it!), Daily Show/Colbert Report, Kitchen Nightmares, Ghost Hunters/Ghost Adventures

Movies:
Mel Brooks movies, action flicks, comedies, anything that can distract me for about 90 minutes. Office Space, Big Lebowski, Space Balls are on my all-time list.

Music
Most types of music ( especially anything that can keep me energized while running). Can go old school with Bon Jovi, Boston, Guns N Roses or more recent rock like Breaking Benjamin, 3 Doors Down and Green Day.

Food:
My tastes have broadened as I've gotten older, but my favorites would be Mexican and Italian food. My trip to Tokyo turned me on to some awesome Japanese cuisine. Can't forget the four American food groups either:
Steak, potatoes, mac & cheese, and pie. (Those are food groups, right?)

Been trying to learn to eat with chopsticks and fail miserably each time. If you know the secret, please tell me!
The six things I could never do without
Just 6?

- The internets! (It's how I make my living anyway)
- Yankees Baseball
- A trail to run
- Close Friends
- Tivo
- Me time
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the future, self-improvement, get myself back into peak running shape, and the sad state of the 49ers. Also the meaning of life, who doesn't think about it?
On a typical Friday night I am
out and about with friends or kicking back at home enjoying what
Netflix has to offer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Nickelback is my guilty pleasure. Believe me, I get teased about it
constantly.
You should message me if
you like what you read and want a true gentleman (not just a nice guy).

Or

You want to spar at kickboxing

Or

You want to cook some good food (or at least help me eat it)
