My self-summary
I packed my bags and drove from California to North Carolina in 2006. Needless to say, I’m always up for a road trip. Travel both domestic and international is one of my passions and I have had countless adventures in numerous countries. I don’t care how many stamps you have in your passport, I'm just looking for someone who is open to some exploration.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a Software Engineer for a local company. I enjoy both the intellectual challenge and creativity my profession offers. Theoretically, I can work from anywhere as long as I can get online. Yes, I have worked from the beach without telling my colleagues but that is just between you and me.

To give back, I volunteer at an organization that refurbishes computers and gives them to underprivileged kids who work hard in school. I am glad to be able to help kids cross the digital divide.
I’m really good at
Fixing anything from upholstery to electronics. Using the extra scrap of wrapping paper to beautifully wrap that last Christmas present. Working out but not being that person who checks in on every social network each time they visit the gym. Reaching things on high shelves. Staying positive even after having all of my clothes stolen in a foreign country.
The first things people usually notice about me
I would like to think it is my dashing good looks.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene is an awesome book if you enjoy both physics and The Simpsons.

TV: I rarely watch live TV. I found all sorts of things to do once I stopped paying for cable.

Food: I enjoy cooking and eating healthful meals the majority of the time but I'm not opposed to indulging in a burger and cherry coke at Five Guys or a barbacoa bowl from Chipotle once in a while.
The six things I could never do without
family, technology, great food, OXO kitchen gadgets, fitness, a piece of carry-on sized luggage
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why do we park in driveways and drive on parkways?
On a typical Friday night I am
You might find me listening to live music at Cat’s Cradle, going to a college sporting event or staying in and trying a new recipe from America’s Test Kitchen while spending far too long deciding what to watch on Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am terrible with foreign languages but love to travel.
You should message me if
I am looking for someone who is a good communicator. Someone who has a positive outlook on life. Someone who is passionate.

If you are all those things, what are you waiting for? Send me a message.
