My self-summary
Canadian in Moscow | Canada for summer holidays

Born in Edmonton but relocated to Toronto. Spent a decade singing & dancing in musicals.

Traded dance shoes for textbooks at UofT/OISE where I magically emerged with a piece of paper stating that I can teach & I know a bit of cultural anthropology & French! 5 expensive years in a nutshell ;)

I love to travel. Lived in India, China, South Korea, France and Russia. I won't say "no" to a nice hotel, but I prefer backpacking, hostels, and meeting locals to hang out with.
No zoos. NO swim-with-the-dolphins stuff.

Vegetarian since I was 14

I love to swim. It's strangely cathartic for me.
[....I just had to look up "cathartic" to make sure I actually knew what it meant.......close enough!]

I adore dogs. If you've got one, I'll go for walks with you!

[....this is getting a little long for a self "summary"! shoot me a message if you'd like to chat]
What I’m doing with my life
Waiting for my mom to win the lottery. She's been promising me since I was 11.
I’m really good at
Writing letters. Real letters: paper & pen, old-school letter-in-the-mailbox letters and post-cards. So if we become friends I expect your mailing address!
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm a boy

1. A Swimming Pool
2. Books
3. My Bike
4. Nature Clean Products
5. My Contacts/Glasses (SO blind!)
6. My Smartphone...how else am I gonna return your call?!?!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Russia & Tibet. They are two places very dear to my heart and they're both often on my mind.

Also, people who take selfies of themselves "sleeping" with their dogs. TOTALLY adorable, but I know you're not sleeping...you're taking a picture of yourself. You can't fool me 😋
On a typical Friday night I am
Logging onto OkCupid to see what other people are doing on a typical Friday night.
Maybe checking out a documentary, the ballet/opera/theatre
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Well, if I wrote it here it wouldn't exactly be private, would it?!?!

BUT here we go: I cry. Be forewarned. If it's a touching movie, music video, piece of theatre, commercial, etc. You're gonna see some tears
