My self-summary
Creative, learning-oriented, reflective, a "body" person (danced professionally for 20 years, now do sundry Somatic and Embodied personal and group growth practices). Interested in consciousness, perception, culture, emotion, justice, sustainability, aesthetics, ideas, textures, colors, tastes ...

I am expressive, thoughtful, and imperfect
What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying being back in the theatre after a hiatus of more than a decade! Designing and facilitating transformative learning groups. Supporting intersections of disciplines.

Holding myself with compassion and softening the inner judge. And still reflecting on who I am and what I'm doing, where I'm going, and how I'm going there.

I enjoy eating, going to movies and theatre, strolling through cool scenery urban and bucolic, physical development/dancing of many sorts
I’m really good at
Tracking and identifying my feelings, reading up on gay politics, listening, appreciating a gorgeous day in San Francisco, noticing grammar errors (sometimes I wish I would notice these less!), helping link passions and ideas of friends who muse and move toward visions, hugging....

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love lattes. Cabaret probably the movie that most influenced who I became. I am totally excited about the new research into the brain, that we can do now like never before in history due to technologies that allow us to 'see" what's going on while a person is alive and doing different things! Recently really enjoyed The Master and His Emissary: The Divided Brain and the Making of the Western World
Six things I could never do without
So, let's rephrase this, shall we?
Six things I just love deeply:
-- artistic pursuits
-- social justice movements
-- combinations of the two
-- connections to others
-- learning
-- movement practices
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a big ole' Barbra fan :-)

You are a complex thinker, are into your body/movement and take care of it, are curious, grounded, and are both serious and playful. Chemistry is so important, and difficult to predetermine, but can be helped with good communication and good old friendliness.
