My self-summary
Can I just say first of all that my screen name was not entirely my idea. I did a bit of research (am I overthinking this whole thing?!) and apparently you men-types are most likely to respond to names that describe physical characteristics. I was going for some kind of blue eyes reference - but of course all the standard names were taken. The site suggested the 'asaurus' version. Just thought I'd clarify that in case you thought I was referring to some kind of prehistoric quality. Or that I may be a pteranodon. that I have cleared up whether or not I am a prehistoric flying reptile I should probably tell you sensible things about myself. I'm fun, kind, spontaneous and excited by all kinds of stupid things. I have a gorgeous 7 year old son which might sound scary but in reality means you get to play with lego and watch kids films at the cinema without looking like a dodgy character.
What I’m doing with my life
I run my own business - which is fantastic but means I'm pretty much always at work! It's good to be busy though and with a few more staff members taken on over the last few months I'm getting a little more time for myself!
I’m really good at
Remaining positive and 'chipper' when trudging up a mountain in torrential rain with a massive rucksack on one's back. Eating. Laughing and making others laugh (sometimes with me, often at me). Having adventures and making good stuff happen.
The first things people usually notice about me
No bloody idea. I have nice eyes apparently. And I'm usually smiling. Maybe you should meet me and then tell me what to write here...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like a spot of historical fiction, really enjoyed the Philip Pullman trilogy, all kinds of non-fiction - I'll read most things really - usually have a stack of books on the go. Some films I loved: Withnail and I, The Reader, Blood Diamond, Shutter Island, Inception (there seems to be a DiCaprio theme here!) I love the theatre and musicals in particular. Tim Minchin's recent adaptation of Matilda was a bit special.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
There was an incident. With a peanut. I'm saying no more.
You should message me if
You are clever and funny and kind and generous. And want to know what happened to the peanut.
