My self-summary
I'm an activist at heart. I live to make the world a better place. Pretty much on any issue I ask myself: does taking this position further equity, sustainability and justice in the world? Does it reduce the suffering of others? Obviously, not everything is completely black and white, but I find these very good baseline questions to ask.

I am sociable, a humanitarian, and a thinker.

I'm also a person who has a passion is to search for reality. I love learning new insights and asking questions about anything that I am curious about.

I'm in a polyamorous relationship with two lovely people. So I'm not looking for another relationship. I'd love meeting new people though.... and an open to casual dates and cuddles :)
What I’m doing with my life
Spending time connecting with others and doing my best to create positive change in the world. But also getting to know myself better and learning how to create positive change within myself. For I have learnt over the years that becoming self aware is one of the most empowering and life changing things one can do.

I have also recently (ish) finished my Political Science, International Relations and Development Studies degree at Victoria University in Wellington...
I’m really good at
TALKING!, being a friend, including people the "new" person (I've moved often enough myself), political discussion, hugs, introducing myself to people
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm friendly and open. I ask lots of questions and am eagar to learn.

That if I don't know you at a social gathering where I know most people, I will make sure that I talk to you.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Power of One, The Feminine Mystique and Tuesdays with Morrie.

Movies: Billy Elliot, Pride, Les Miserables, Amelie, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Prayers for Bobby, The Man from Earth, Mississippi Burning, Remember the Titans, V for Vendetta, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and The Birdcage.
The six things I could never do without
1) People who sincerely love and care about me
2) Nature and the outdoors
3) The ability to learn, ask questions and think for myself
4) Hugs/cuddles and closeness with others
5) Personal autonomy
6) The ability to empathise with others and work towards positive change
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The importance of gender equity and feminism in helping to build better world. When applied to relationships, this involves an equal partnership based on mutual respect and trust. I dislike outdated gender roles as it puts people in boxes and does not allow them to be who they really are. (Btw, if the word feminist scares you, then please don’t bother contacting me. It would be a waste of your time and mine.)

Climate change and how we can't have infinite economic growth on a finite planet.

How to build a strong and healthy community of people... not just being random individuals who crash into each other once in a while.... but how to do life together with people
On a typical Friday night I am
Hmmmmm.... it varies.... watching movies, spending time with friends, discussing politics or contemplating the meaning of life, the universe and everything... (its 42!).... something like that.
You should message me if
You would like to! (This is an important first step) I don't mind who you are. Just as long you're polite, friendly and not superficial...

You are poly/ have had experience in a polyamorous relationship. Finding out that I can romantically love more than one person at at time has been a new experience for me, so I'd love to connect with other poly/ poly friendly people.
