My self-summary
Let's see, the basics: I was born in NYC but grew up in the burbs. I'm a licensed massage therapist working locally, and board certified awesome.

I'm really easy to get along with, just don't be a dick. Words I live by. You have to work hard to get on my bad side. My primary creative outlets recently have been writing and filmmaking, and am in post-production for my first movie, which I co-wrote and directed. I became a massage therapist to pay the bills, but I find myself loving the work and am constantly challenged by it. Plus, you have some interesting experiences when you please people with your hands for money.

I'm a little quiet at first, but sometimes hard to shut up once I get going. I'm very honest, ocasionally sarcastic, and loyal to a fault.

Hmmm, what else...I like spontaneous outings, day trips, trying new places to eat, those sorts of things. I'm up for just about anything you might suggest.
What I’m doing with my life
I've been a licensed and certified massage therapist for the past 5 years, and I love it. I've had professional ups-and-downs, but I'm growing my practice and continue to find my work fulfilling.

My other passion is writing, and I'm currently in post-production of a feature I co-wrote and directed, which has been a sometimes wonderful, often frustrating, but ultimately rewarding experience.

I would love to travel more, and it's a goal of mine to take a significant trip somewhere on the other side of the world next year. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
I’m really good at
My job,
Giving honest opinions,
Making lists and then forgetting them.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books, too many to list, I read a lot. Some of my favorite books over the last few years are, in no particular order: Hyperion, The Lies of Locke Lamora, The Ryeria Revelations, House of Suns, Pushing Ice, The Name of the Wind...

Movies, wow, I love movies, pretty much in any genre. I've even made one. A few of my favorites off the top of my head...Lawrence of Arabia, Alien, Goodfellas, The Dark Knight, The Star Wars Trilogy, Amelie, Spirited Away, Oldboy...if you love movies we should definitely talk.

I'm open to just about any genre, save country. If you feel like expanding my horizons, I'm game. Examples of what I'm into would be the Clash, Arcade Fire, The Doors, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Reel Big Fish, KRS-One, Myka 9, Radiohead, the Black Keys.

TV: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, South Park, Archer, Hannibal, The League, Justified, The New Girl, Broad City...Pretty much anything good that doesn't rely heavily on a laugh track or isn't too depressing/horrifying ("I Didn't Know I was Pregnant?" hell no).

I love love love spicy food, the hotter the better. Also love sushi, Mexican, Thai, Indian, and really I'll try almost anything at least once. And pizza, love pizza, but who doesn't?
The six things I could never do without
My hands
A sense of humor
Friends and family
My car (not really, but it makes my life so much easier)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, the universe, and everything. I think about the people in my life, sometimes more focused on their problems than I ever am on my own (not that I have many, I'm pretty awesome). Sometimes I think about something shiny right over there.
On a typical Friday night I am
I try to go out, hang out with friends locally or sometimes head into the city. I'm usually up for whatever, even a quiet night in catching up on Netflix.

Certainly not making suits of human skin in my garage.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't really keep things about myself very private, I'm very open.
You should message me if
You'd like to hang out and have a good time, have a good sense of humor, and don't want to tell me all about Jesus.
