My self-summary
-On January 7th, 2011 I packed a car outside Chicago and drove to Los Angeles to work in television.

-I'm the oldest of four children in my family. This defines me a lot more than my ability to tell the difference between "you're" and "your".

-I don't consider myself a particularly adventurous person, yet I've been on more interesting and far-away adventures than almost everybody I know.

-It used to be uncool to like Star Wars. Now it's uncool to dislike Star Wars. This is probably the greatest cultural advancement of the past 15 years.

-I also like all the really cliche things that everybody here likes such as hiking in Runyon Canyon, outdoor movies, going to dive bars, yoga, seeing shows at UCB theater, and drinking red wine.

-I treat the television shows I watch like my friendships. They might let me down sometimes, but they can trust me to stick with them. I can always make time for another great one.
What I’m doing with my life
