My self-summary
I believe in open, honest, egalitarian relationships.

I believe no matter how close two people become, they are always individuals.

I believe every relationship requires equal amounts of honesty and respect on the part of both individuals or the relationship will eventually fail.

I believe no amount of common interests will overcome differences in life philosophies.

I believe 90% of the people who read the above statements and agree with them will agree with them in theory and not practice.

I am a person who constantly chooses my values and consciously lives them.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a constant work in progress. I don't believe in stagnation. I set goals for myself and I achieve them. I am continuously working toward becoming a better version of myself.

Consequently, I'm the best me I can be every day.
I’m really good at
I'm best at conversation. I love to talk and I love to listen. I frequently hear the phrase, "I can't believe I just told you that, I've never told anyone that."

I also have a long memory and am a highly intuitive person. When I get to know you, I *know* you. Some folks like that, some are scared by it. Which are you?
The first things people usually notice about me
I get a lot of comments on my smile. People frequently stop me in public to tell me how beautiful my smile is...because I have dimples?

Personality-wise: I'm a pretty positive and upbeat person. I don't like looking at the negative side of things because I feel it's a waste of my energy, which could be put to better use enjoying life. I only have the one.

Folks often remark on how independent and driven I am. I do not need rescuing and I know exactly where I'm going in life. If you find that intimidating, we will not be a romantic match. Similarly, if you find that exciting because you'd like to live vicariously through me, we will not be a romantic match.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like to be entertained. I'm not a critic, I prefer to enjoy most things for what they are. There are a few things I mostly avoid, but even then there are exceptions.

I'm also not a fangirl. If something excites me, I might attend a release party or opening night, but more likely I'm there because someone I love is a fan.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Seriously, though, I think a lot. I spend my days in thought. When I'm too tired to focus on the task at hand, I'm just thinking.

My preference though, is to think about my life and what I'm doing with it. I like to keep myself on target for ultimate enjoyment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out with friends or at home resting up for the rest of the weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm willing to admit pretty much anything.

I mentioned up above that I'm honest to a fault and I'm not kidding about that one.

The fastest way to earn my respect and admiration is to both be a truth teller and be able to hear the truth. If you're not firmly rooted in reality, I'm not interested.
You should message me if
Open a dialogue, we'll see how it goes.

**note: dialogue openers contain more than three sentences, but less than three paragraphs.** :-)

Tell me what drives you to get out of bed in the morning, in which arenas are you competent, in which arenas do you need improvement?

Competence is sexy!
