My self-summary
Profiles on dating sites are very difficult to make, because at the end of the day how do you summarize yourself in 250 words? Can the essence that is you, the thing that makes you truly unique ever be written down, especially on a dating site, probably not. So what we have to settle with are shadows and fragments of who we are, we hope these penumbras and emanations of our soul are enough to catch someone’s eye, but that sad truth is that attraction is what drives us to reach out. Because we are all such interesting creatures, what would set us apart other than some amount of attraction, unfortunately a few pictures are paltry things to seeing someone in person. I believe that there is this great magic involved in meeting someone new for the first time, within the moment between seeing them and getting to actually know them, exists this world of infinite possibilities where the person could be anyone to everything in your life, they could be your new best friend, or a brief but intense love affair to the person of your dreams and the love of your life. I think this experience is diminished greatly over the internet, which is why normally I like to meet people as soon as possible, because you can tell very quickly whether or not you like someone in person.
What I’m doing with my life
It is my most sincere desire to be a writer, endless stories swim through my mind. Though honestly I lack some of the desire to buckle down and start writing something substantial, I suppose in a way I’m waiting for my muse, though I fear it will never appear. But sometimes I catch it in glimpses, and furiously write all that is on my mind.
I’m really good at
Conversation, I love to sit down and talk with just about anyone. Though I am also very good at video games, sports, writing, pretty much anything i put my mind to. I'm also very good at understanding problems of the mind and heart, a lot of my friends call me their personal psychiatrist, haha. I guess I am very observant, and empathetic of people and their problems.
The first things people usually notice about me
Well I suppose that would be my hair? I’m not really sure, this is a question that I don’t really ask a lot of people, however I have been told that I have amazing hair and wit, a dangerous combination I daresay.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
