My self-summary
I'm sorry, I'm not actually located in the UK. I'm in the US for now. So upfront apologies. I have a reason for the location change and I don't mean to be a jerk with it.

Not that I would have any problem chatting with someone from that area. So if you want to chat with an American, feel free to message me.

I'm a bit nerdy, a bit opinionated, and somewhat good at understatement. I have a wide array of interests. My favorite comedian is Groucho Marx. That may tell you a lot. I have lately gotten into writing - mostly murder mystery/spy stuff. I wouldn't say I'm much good but it's something to do. That being said I am now a wealth of random information on Victorian England from the 1880's to the 1890's. I know, bit odd, but it is entertaining. Also, I have a Master's Degree in Forensic Anthropology. I enjoy it though it can make my conversation very strange at times.

I should probably mention I am a proud Hufflepuff and a Trekker. If you are into that kind of thing that probably speaks volumes to you. And if you are not... that probably speaks volumes to you as well.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
Playing card games - seriously, I warn you I'm Italian and I will beat you in Rummy... unless you are also Italian, then it gets tricky.
Also I can cook.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hard to say. I'm going to guess it's the short hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My all time favorite movies are: Watership Down, The Secret of Roan Inish, Veronica Guerin, The Shawshank Redemption, and The Mouse That Roared.

Books: Watership Down (kinda obvious there), surprisingly I liked "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon". Other favorites include: Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, Jane Eyre, Wurthering Heights, The Tennant of Wildfell Hall, Riders of The Purple Sage, The Seawolf and many others that I will add when I think of them. I'm really getting into Zane Grey so I imagine more of his books will appear on this list in time.

Music: What can I say? I'm a Springsteen fan, also Jimmy Buffet, and The Clarks

Foods: I'm a big fan of Italian and Polish.
Six things I could never do without
God, food, Sleep, shelter, water, trees
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Various things, preferably interesting ones but occasionally mundane.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working! I work the Night Shift.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I guess, like many other originals here, that I joined because I had a moderate addiction to tests on and was so wanting to take the new one that I was willing to join a site that I never even heard of. Oh well, live and learn.

Also I know the entire original version of the "There once was a man from Nantucket" limerick - it's clean, squeeky clean actually. I took the time one day to learn it.
You should message me if
You feel like it. I almost always respond back; I mean, afterall, you did take the time to write. I don't typically respond if you don't have a profile picture. I ask that you do try to have more content than "Hello, how are you doing?" to give me something to work with.

Or if you want to know the real words to that infamous limerick.
