My self-summary
I'm outdoorsy, bendy, splashy and almost always happy to the point of being bouncy. When I walk down the street people always smile at me and say hello because I'm smiling and happy. You can find me at the farmer's market and I'm usually the one in the kitchen cooking healthy food. I do Iyengar yoga and meditate everyday and I LOVE to swim laps. I ride my bike whenever I can and I love to hike. I like to cuddle up with a book, get a massage, and I don't have a TV because I spend my free time making silkscreens, woodcuts, and digital prints. I volunteer for Meals on Wheels once a week because even a small positive contribution to people's lives, especially food, makes a difference to the people who receive them. My photos were taken 4/29/15. Also, I should mention that I'm very allergic to cats.
What I’m doing with my life
I grew up in Baltimore but I lived in LA for 32 years and I just moved back here in November so I'm still getting settled and trying to find my way around.
I’m really good at
making you feel calm and relaxed; and I can cook!
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes and smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read anything that's well written. I usually prefer Independent films. I don't have a TV but I liked the new Sherlock series on PBS. I listen to "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" (by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiko'ole) when I'm eating breakfast. It makes me happy.
I love Arvo Part Spiegel I'm Spiegel. I would like to sing and dance for you to Savage Garden's song " Truly, Madly, Deeply." I like classical, jazz, and world music. I also like the music of Katy Perry (Firework), Deva Premal, and Snatnam Kaur.
I like all food except okra and I just couldn't eat guinea pig when I was in Peru.
Six things I could never do without
love, art, yoga, friends, swimming, hiking, riding my bike, cooking for loved ones.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how grateful I am for my perfect health, absolute prosperity, wonderful family and friends. I am invigorated with living life and appreciating my life experience.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hmm, I'm new here in town so I'm looking forward to meeting new friends to socialize with but right now I'd rather work in my printmaking studio making silkscreens than watch TV.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've never seen a Raven's game.
You should message me if
I want a partnership where we can be our true and genuine selves. I can imagine how relaxed and excited I am as we hold hands as we walk along the sidewalk on our way to have dinner out at our favorite restaurant. At dinner we laugh and enjoy each other and slowly walk back home, arms around each other. It won’t be exactly like I imagine; it will probably be better. As a couple we will each pursue our own personal growth and we will work together to find make a contribution to the lives of others in a meaningful and loving way. I'm pretty creative and I'm looking for that in a partner too. The kind of man who's arty enough to get my woodcuts (and make a few himself), sensitive enough to know how to listen even as he talks, and stable enough to understand both what he wants and how to achieve it. Someone generous and kind, and...oh, wonderful. That's you, isn't it? Say Hi!
