My self-summary
I have the worst dad jokes. I'll make you the best tacos you've ever had. West coast born, documentary photographer.
What I’m doing with my life
When I first moved to NY I found an old TV on the sidewalk. The kind where you have to get up and turn a knob to change the channel. I managed to rig cable from my neighbors upstairs, but the TV was so old, the only two stations I was able to get were the Food Network and the IFC channel.

As a result I accidentally became a photographer because I discovered a love for cinematic imagery and music, and thought I had a pretty good eye. Eventually I went to school for documentary photography, all the while working in the service industry starting off cooking and eventually bartending.

Somewhere recently I realized that I'm more interested in learning to make films than photos, so now I'm starting back down that road. I also remembered that I've always loved martial arts so I'm back at that too.

So I work a few nights a week at a pretty classic NY late night restaurant. I'm learning some Kung Fu a few nights a week as well, because I've always loved it (but forgot for awhile).

I'm changing from photography to film so I'm editing together a few big photo projects as books and publishing them. But I'm also making room to learn cinema.

And then there's this droney space rock project I've been juggling as well... I get to it when I can.

Basically I want to do it all.

According to dancing is pretty epic. I dunno if that's a good thing... But I dunno if that's a bad thing.
