My self-summary
I love cartoons, video games, painting pottery, drawing, being creative. I volunteer my ass off and cycling and rock climbing are becoming my new favorite things to do. I lead hikes and love outdoor adventure. Taking me on an awesome camping is a sure fire way to make it into my heart. I believe that Burritos are the Chosen Food, followed closely by Pizza. Often when asked what I want to eat my response is "something round" :) I'm an ENFP and totally exhibit those qualities. Also a Cancer, and definitely fit my sign. Loyal to a fault, pretty much a big puppy and extremely affectionate. I can get rowdy, love playing around and being a goofball. I'm pretty masculine but have been known to throw out a "grrl!" here and there (my roommate's fault).

I'd like to meet like minded guys that are not in it for the money, people who are willing to give of themselves with little or no promise of a return on their investment other than a heart felt thank you and a pat on the back. A smile and a hug is worth so much more than a paycheck to me, and I give both smiles and hugs freely! Non-smokers are a must -- I'm allergic to tobacco.

I am pseudo-adventurous, loyal, and a big puppy
What I’m doing with my life
I was recently laid off from being a content lead and 3D artist at Linden Lab/Second Life. I designed virtual spaces, objects and fun things. I'm looking for a new gig. I'd love to work in event production for a non-profit. I volunteer my ass off. I love to help others. I'm riding the Seismic Challenge in October, a 200 mile, 2 day bike ride to raise money for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
I’m really good at
Tripping! I'm a total clutz. I'm a great space planner and designer. I can make anyone laugh. I can cheer anyone up who's down and I can solve everyone else's relationship problems. I also have this weird understanding of TV and movie scripts -- I usually figure out the story well before it's revealed.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hey! My eyes are up here! Haha, actually probably my smile. Guys are always telling me I have a great one but I suck at fake smiling (pictures). I'm also always told that I have a great sense of humor and an amazing energy about me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Small Gods, Harry Potter series, Iron Man comics (those count, right?) I just started recreational reading. I'm working on the Discworld series.

Movies: Iron Man, The Sweetest Thing, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, Bolt, Harry Potter Series, Avatar, The Little Mermaid, Star Trek 2009, UP, Julie & Julia, Happy Feet, Meet the Robinsons, Charlie's Angels, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, Saved!, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Meet the Robinsons. I'm a scardey-cat so no horror flicks!

TV: I'm a dork. Eureka, all Star Trek except TOS (I like blinking lights), Iron Man, XMen, Family Guy, Simpsons, Cartoon Network, Nicktoons, any and all home improvement/"surprise we tore your room up and made it into a circus tent" shows. Also sorry to say I'm completely into Ru Paul's Drag Race, Project Runway and America's Next Top Model. There. I said it!

Music: Dance, house, trance, anything that goes boom chic boom chic ... I also like big band/roaring 20's and nostaligic commercial music.

Food: If you haven't realized yet, I love burritos. I'm also down with all forms of italian food, chinese, sushi, japanese in some cases, dim sum, macaroni and cheese (especially the kind with crunchies on top and bacon mixed in!). I hate hate hate corn, and I'm not a fan of tomatoes but do eat them on occasion.
Six things I could never do without
Burritos (chicken mole super burrito with cheese and black beans and mild salsa please!)
My bike
Video games
Rope ... There's a reason I'm known as Knotty Brent.
Sunlight (I am solar powered)
Naproxen Sodium (after a bike ride!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Burritos. Man I'm starved. Other than burritos, I think a lot about where I am in life and how I got here and how happy I am with where I'm at.
On a typical Friday night I am
Home trolling the internet. Kidding! I turn in early usually on Fridays because I train on Saturday mornings. Ask me what I do every other night of the week!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm HIV positive, diagnosed in September 2009. It's not a drag though -- I'm doing really well with it, very healthy and have a terrific outlook on my life! Its actually really changing my life in a good way and pushing me to prove things to myself. A poz diagnosis isn't the end of the world. For me, it's a new beginning :)
You should message me if
I haven't scared you away yet! Haha. I'm most compatible with other silly people who don't take themselves seriously. I'm allergic to suits and ties, preferring t-shirt and jeans over all other clothing options (though shorts are probably more my style, SF isn't exactly the best place to be bounding around in shorts!). My heart is HUGE and I look for guys who have a similar abnormality ;). If you'll go on an AIDS Ride with me, volunteer with me or otherwise help me make the world a better place, you've already got some points in your favor.
