My self-summary
Disclaimers: Happily engaged and practicing consensual non-monogamy, currently living with my fiance (my wife after October 2017) and her boyfriend Kevin and his girlfriend Lindsay, this is not a couple profile looking for unicorns or potential threesomes.

My life is...
A day to day gladiator battle: laziness vs. productivity, activity (or hyperactivity) vs. hermitism, extraversion vs. introversion, and now appearing in the Colosseum, IPA vs. stout.
Cheesy puns.
Coffee and sushi binges.
Getting up at 6:15 almost everyday.
Using sentence fragments when I know better.
Ritual, oh, how I love all the different sorts of rituals there are.
Kinky/kink friendly.
Being a thoughtful omnivore (Google it).
Bike rides.
A jam session.
A jug of whiskey.
A carafe/multiple carafes of coffee.
As many tabletop RPG's as I can possibly fit into my schedule.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a bit busy these days; spending my weekdays as a Youth Services Librarian. In my off time, I'm probably drinking a bit more coffee/beer/whiskey than I should, and playing around with my somewhat sub-par recording equipment or guitar, watching too many TV shows online, or playing a loooot of pen-and-paper RPG's.
I’m really good at
Being me; that includes information literacy, endurance guitar playing, coffee drinking, walking, writing poetry while riding trains, and stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
My lips probs; I have a grotesque permapout. I have also been told I'm funny. I hope that is so. I also don't have hair at the moment.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oh jeez. I'll give you authors: Flannery O'Connor, Graham Greene, C.S. Lewis, Stephen King, Richard Russo, Evelyn Waugh, Robert Heinlein, Homer, Virgil, William Blake, Walker Percy, T.S. Elliot, Cormac McCarthy, Isaac Asimov, Neal Stephenson, Dan Simmons, etc. (These are just guys I can read over and over, they in no way comprise all of my reading materials). Just finished reading Fall of Hyperion by Dan Simmons.

Top 5 movies (in no particular order and frequently changing): Drive; Master and Commander; Arrival; Jesus Christ Superstar; Open Range.

TV shows: Rick and Morty; Parks and Recreation; Star Trek: Next Generation; Star Trek, anything but Enterprise; American Dad; Futurama; Scrubs; Bob's Burgers; Vikings; Peaky Blinders; Steven Universe; Gravity Falls; Black's Books; Adventure Time.

Music (this is not a complete list of my favorites): everything from Mayhem, Slayer, Indian, Iron Maiden, Tool, Death, early Metallica, Megadeth, etc. to Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith, Porcupine Tree, Bob Dylan, Amanda Palmer, Townes Van Zandt, Rodriguez, Dire Straits, Guster, and Cake, and so on.

My favorite food is tied between sushi, steak tartare, and tacos.

Podcasts: Lore, The Adventure Zone, The Glass Cannon Podcast, Lavar Burton Reads, and I did voice acting and sound production work for a new one called Ghost Light Radio Theater and Co's The Ferryman: an Old Time Radio Series. I dream of doing an actual play tabletop RPG podcast.
Six things I could never do without
A lot more than six things.

My brothers, a guitar, songs to play, stories, woods to walk in, open and earnest communication.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Pen-and-paper RPG's, how summer reading will likely drive me crazy, what library jobs I'm going to apply for next, music, people's actions, literary theory, philosophy, libraries, that itch behind your left eye at two a.m., and probably a lot of other stupid stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most likely at home, but also possibly jammin' (and I'd like to be jammin' with you), walking around in the woods, at a bar, practicing music, or something else. I've also got a fairly terrible addiction to a variety of video games I may or may not be playing (I have a Steam account, and have thus forfeited my soul).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love making D&D characters.
You should message me if read all of this and want to read more. will message me first; ain't nobody got time for gender norms. have a reference question. want to improve your information literacy. are/want to be poly. like trees some of the time. ride bikes. can put up with someone who can be loquacious for one hour and then silent for many hours. like unnecessary and uncommon words. like listening to order emerge from chaos. like long walks and intelligent talks. want to make music with me.
...I made you laugh. never give up and you're into constant improvement. know and/or like dinosaurs. want to share some vegetarian recipes with me. want to tell me I'm pretty (dammit, I know I'm pretty!). want to play Dungeons and Dragons. No, seriously.
