My self-summary
I'm a former computer geek and a reformed Southerner, with a passion for taking classes and learning new things. I've been in Portland for 10 years now, and I'm still loving it hugely.

I am high, wide, and handsome. (bonus points if you get the reference)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm active with the local Burning Man community in Portland, working on several art projects over the past several years. I'm also pretty active with the local "bike fun" scene, volunteering with events like Pedalpalooza and the World Naked Bike Ride. I'm an avid hiker; one year I finished all 80 miles of the trails of Forest Park, and this year I did Saddle Mountain for the first time.

When I'm not biking, hiking or on the dusty playa, I'm probably tutoring mathematics, cooking, practicing massage or traveling to the next adventure.
I’m really good at
Being a smart ass, cooking, massage, biking (city and trail riding), making people laugh, navigating through crowded airports and empty backroads.
The first things people usually notice about me
The (nearly) shaved head, the goatee, and occasionally the scar over my right eye. My twisted sense of humor.

Six things I could never do without
Aside from obvious things like food, shelter...?

Occasional time alone. Time spent in nature. Opportunities to learn new things. My bicycle. Feeling loved, feeling needed.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lots of introspection.
On a typical Friday night I am
What's typical? Biking around town, seeing a movie, watching a burlesque show, soaking in the hot tub.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can sing the Swedish Chef's Song from the Muppet Show.
I know when "anal retentive" should be hyphenated.
I can balance a broom on my chin.
I have worked as a bouncer, a carpenter, a trolley driver.
I was once caught having sex with a girl on top of her parents' car, in her parents' driveway. By her mother.

I am ridiculously oversexed.
You should message me if
Frankly, I would enjoy making some new close friends just as much as I would enjoy new romantic/physical partners. If you'd like to get together for coffee, drinks, to shoot some pool, ride bikes around town, just drop me a note.

I'm in a relationship presently, not exclusively. I'm not a big fan of the term "polyamory" but I'll include it for its keyword value. An exclusive relationship is not in the cards for me.

If that hasn't scared you off, I'd like to meet people who are open-minded, with a quirky sense of humor, clever, sexy, and adventurous!

I seem to be a huge fan of people who take initiative. If you like what you read in my profile, drop me a note. I'd enjoy hearing from you.
Seize the day! Be bold!
