What I’m doing with my life
doing everything i can to help my twenty-two-year-old son become a happy person, walking the dog, searching for an affectionate friend and researching a new book which for all i know will never get written. each makes me happy in its own peculiar way.
I’m really good at
other than the usual, i am good at driving and following recipes, but not good at following directions when driving.

Six things I could never do without
i'ld like to think i could do without anything if i had to. it's difficult for me to imagine life without the wind, my eyesight, my hearing, my kids, and my memories and imagination.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what makes me hold the opinions/insights/preferences/prejudices that i have.
On a typical Friday night I am
doing whatever i might be doing any other day of the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
there are no private "things" i am ashamed of, yet i wouldn't admit to all equally readily.
