What I’m doing with my life
I spend my days as an educator in a synagogue helping teens build their identities and form meaningful connections with service and community. I've been running from this type of thing most of my life because my whole family has a history of working in education and I didn't want to be defined by it but now that I'm actually doing it, I am freaking loving it. Go figure.

I have big goals for myself professionally, so grad school is on my horizon for sure. I want to change how we approach emotional health in our schools and communities and want to champion mindfulness in everyday life. I am working on a book project that brings me tons of joy and I am always on the lookout for more perspectives to infuse into what I write. I practice daily meditation and I use Flotation Tanks at least once a month to reach deeper levels of myself. Don't know what a Flotation Tank is? Ask me about it, and I'd be happy to share what I know and am still learning :)

I love people and have found that I need to be with someone who shares that love too. Every conversation, every trip or walk down a street, is a chance to change the world and bring a little happiness. If you feel the same way, we should connect.
I’m really good at
-An English accent (I had one as a child but was sent to speech therapy to get rid of it lest I develop a speech impediment...great party trick though)
-singing sentences in casual conversations
-nerding out with a great video game
-Having a dance party of 1 in the airport, in line at the grocery store, on the T, walking down a street, basically anywhere and everywhere as long as I have headphones and some Organic House to vibe to.
-public speaking of all kinds
-making my friends laugh
-making people feel welcome, accepted, and important
-talking ALL things soccer
-playing with animals
-making babies laugh
-calling my grandmother every Friday to see how her week was
-drinking until I hit my absolute limit and not going over it (usually),
-learning new board/card games
-bringing people together, building connections and seeing the bigger picture
-making creative sandwiches (I used to be baker and sandwich guru professionally)
The first things people usually notice about me
Spiritually: My energy and that I make them feel like the most important person in the room

Physically: My Buddha smile and lovely shnoz

You should message me if
You really enjoy watching soccer (at that point you've already won me over)

Or you want to meet up with a sane non-creeper just so you can tell yourself that there are some decent gentlemen out there who are just looking for connection and depth like you are. I'm all about open communication, challenging each other to be better everyday, but also accepting people for their faults as well as their strengths. If that sounds like something you connect with, you might as well go for it :)
The two of us
