My self-summary
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, moved around for school and work a whole bunch of times, but finally settled here in the awesome PNW about 1.5 years ago. The only thing I'm really looking for in a partner is ridiculous chemistry. (Oh, and someone who shares my wanderlustiness). I realize that finding this solely through profiles and online chats might be near impossible, so I'm usually willing to meet up after some respectful conversation with like minded individuals.

As you can see I've left the Relationship Type section of my sidebar blank. To be honest, I don't really know whether I'm looking for a monogamous or a non-monogamous (ONLY ETHICAL non-monogamy) relationship. I've had my share of both and I don't think I particularly prefer one or the other. I think both relationship styles have their benefits and drawbacks. I'm more interested in developing a strong connection with someone and seeing what it evolves into, rather than sticking a label on it from the get-go.

I'm 185% demisexual. It is NECESSARY for me to form a strong emotional connection with a potential partner before I can even think about sex or really know if I am sexually attracted to them. This means that for me to even be receptive to a first kiss, we probably have to spend a lot of time getting to know each other. A really great first date is not enough for me to know if I am sexually attracted to you. Friendship and connection for me are the pre-requisites to sexual desire. If you want to know more about demisexuality or how I experience it, please ask!! I think sex is AWESOME, but it has to be right. Also, a link:

In other news: I really really love hot dogs, I think the beaches of the Olympic peninsula are pure magic, I love to snuggle in fuzzy blankets and be chill and lazy and cuddly, I have a huge collection of plush animals that all have names and personalities, I love to pick a plush friend to come on road trips and give them my phone so they can take selfies, I like to mix strange combinations of food and feed them to my loved ones. I used to be an avid runner, but have had to stop due to several injuries. I love to hike and I do yoga often, but I'm looking for new athletic pursuit. I've been hearing good things about archery.
What I’m doing with my life
Nurse. Operating Room.
I’m really good at
Doing things on the fly with little to no planning. I think I get a rush out of it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Born to Run. Eat & Run (apparently I have a theme). I like stories about humans who accomplish amazing things (If you know of any good ones, please send them my way!).

American Beauty. Frances Ha. TransFatty Lives. Happy Times. Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's dead.

Girls. Dexter. Breaking Bad. Homeland. Six Feet Under. Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Killing. Also a junkie for medical mystery and true crime shows.

So. Much. Music. I've been told my preferred musical preference is "hipster banjo." But some favorites include: Alt- J, The Head and the Heart, The Magnetic Fields, Bon Iver, Ben Howard, Daughter, The Decemeberists, Jose Gonzalez, The Tallest Man on Earth, Gogol Bordello, and anything with a gypsy flare! I'm ALWAYS looking for new songs to put on playlists.
