My self-summary
Where to start... I'm a trained Opera singer (yes, really), techie, and an unabashed geek.
My hobbies include reading, writing, photography, camping, mead brewing, going to the range, motorcycle riding, fountain pens, sporadic attempts at various building projects, hanging out with friends for stimulating conversation, and trying to make the most of life.

I've been turning into a bit of a fitness junkie over the past few years; running, hiking, and yoga being my activities of choice.

In the interest of moral full disclosure: I am in a non-monogamous relationship; so are my partners and this is all accepted. I am part of a Poly triad. On a personal level we are open with our relationships, though the frequency of external relationships is varied between the lot of us. With that said, I am currently looking to form new friendships. The sky's the limit on what these friendships could grow into, but I am content with whatever level is comfortable for you, me and everyone; be that hanging out to play cards, joining me a in a bottle of scotch and fun conversation, dating, exploring the region together, etc.).
What I’m doing with my life
I work at NASA, which is amazing. I've always loved the dream of space flight and I think it is awesome that I get to contribute to that. I work out, I have good friends and am living life rather well.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm told I have nice eyes. I have a huge vocabulary? I don't know, this kind of question is always difficult.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
It's difficult for me to state my favorite books. I read voraciously and my "new favorite book" changes from month to month. My shelf of recent books contains a smattering of sci-fi, fantasy (Write like the wind, George!), and nonfiction. My go-to books that I can pick up any time and enjoy reading a chapter in are just as diverse.

I enjoy a good movie, also in a diverse smattering. Action and Sci-fi are always good. Dramas and comedies, can be good. Not too keen on horror flicks, I just don't enjoy them.

I don't watch much TV. I need a good story for me to stay with a show. Once I do find a good show, I'll binge watch it over a weekend and wail and lament the end of the season.

Favorite music: wow, I'm eclectic on this one. My ipod is just as likely to go to something like Bach's Mass in b minor as it is to play Evanescence, Billy Joel, or something modern/house mix-ish.

Food: I am fond of food. I try to eat well and stay in shape, but I'm happy to go out for ice cream too. I love that Houston is such a good city to find those hole-in-the-wall restaurants with amazing food. I enjoy trying new placea
