Growing up an Air Force brat, I've traveled around the world and I want to see more...like Norway (where my people are from) Iceland, Mongolia, Africa and even Antartica, there's a cruise there, you know.
I dig live music, visiting museums, conversing about Bordeaux, Mandelbrot, String Theory or the dirt on the floor of that dive bar. And I really enjoy sleeping in, and lazy, lay-around days, but those hardly ever happen.
I like to go on dates and have good laughing times.
If love is a dream, I'd like to go to sleep and find it.
Work ethic, integrity and good grammar are important to me. Spontaneity, a chill disposition, and an acceptance for things that cannot be controlled are also personality traits I gravitate toward...and try to attain for myself. I enjoy hanging with other people who are also interested in attaining a better self. Just be fun, open-minded, liberal or moderate, have a minimun amount of hang-ups, no drama, and we're guaranteed to have a fun time!
I work in a creative field, have a lot of fun at work and get to play with cute clothes all day. Doesn't get much better than that!
Movies I enjoy are Kick-Ass, District 9, Office Space, Zoolander, Kung Fu Hustle, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pan's Labyrinth, Enlightenment Guaranteed, Control, Zombieland, Dark Shadows, Frailty, The Hangover...
I do not watch much TV but my favorite shows right now include It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Portlandia, Breaking Bad, SOA, Walking Dead, SOA, Game of Thrones and anything NOVA or cooking/food related.
My music tastes go all over the place. I tune it to bands like Silversun Pickups, Flaming Lips (amazing shows!), LCD Soundsystem, Pixies, Interpol, Joy Division, Basement Jaxx, Thievery Corp., K&D, Daft Punk, Rage, NIN, Lead Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Cowboy Junkies, Dead Can Dance, Surfer Blood, Darius, Gardens & Villa, Poolside, Painted Palms, Pictureplane...to name a few.
As for food, I love it, and I love trying knew things. I am not squeamish when it comes to eating. I love sushi, like real sashimi, and Thai, Mexican (the real stuff), Italian, Lebanese, Ethiopian... I'll try it! But I'd give it all up for a NYC slice, just cheese please!
