My self-summary
I am a guy. You hopefully are not.
I am sarcastic.
The subjects that interest me are also the least politically correct. They are, in no particular order, politics, religion/philosophy, and science.
I am not particularly shy, nor am I a huge extrovert. I like to go out but I also enjoy staying in with a book, movie, etc.
Here's looking at you kid.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a technical recruiter. I won't bore you with the details. If you'd like to know more, ask. I'm shocked... shocked to find that gambling is going on in there.
I’m really good at
Trivia (there's quite a bit of useless information stored in my head and really not much else). I am quite adept at being sarcastic. Also, tied into the first point I enjoy movie quotes, perhaps you have noticed?
The first things people usually notice about me
"I've often speculated why you don't return to America. Did you abscond with the church funds? Run off with a senator's wife? I like to think you killed a man. It's the Romantic in me."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A sampling:

Books- Anything by Michael Crichton or Tom Clancy. Political books, especially those dealing with foreign affairs. Recently Ray Kurzweil. I like novels and non-fiction. My interests run the gamut.

Movies- Casablanca, Sunset Blvd, Some Like It Hot, The Man Who Knew Too Little, Caddyshack. Any of the "Jack Ryan" films, most everything with Harrison Ford; most historical movies e.g. Lawrence of Arabia, Patton, etc.. I enjoy thrillers, and suspense films, and finally these are the romantic films that I am not ashamed at all to admit I like Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Sabrina with either Harrison Ford or Humphrey Bogart.

Television- The Newsroom, Sports Night, Bones, House, The Office, Arrested Development, The West Wing, and an assortment of others.

Music: My list would be far too long to be easily culled through to find if we have similar tastes. A cop out but I am open to most anything.
The six things I could never do without
-My vision, literally, hearing is great and all and I'd miss them if they were gone, but without sight you are blind (pun intended) and honestly that would suck.
-New ideas.
-Selective memory/forgetfulness.
-All the experiences that made me who I am. (For better or worse.)
-New ideas.
-An escape plan.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I have learned how to live, how to be IN the world and OF the world, and not just to stand aside and watch. And I will never, never again run away from life. Or from love, either.
On a typical Friday night I am
Mostly I remember the last one. The wow finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am not terribly private. If you want to know something, ask.
You should message me if
Anything here seems of interest to you.
