I know that may sound a little simple, but its true. The very first thing I notice about a guy is his height, the second is his character. I think a person should be well spoken, educated, funny and kind.
As for me, I am very social. I teach/or take dance classes a few nights a week and the rest of the time I am probably studying or hanging out with friends. Relationships are very important to me.
Anything by Christopher Moore, Terry Prachett, Douglas Adams, Douglas Coupland, Mary Doria Russel, Bill Bryson, Jasper Fforde, Martin, and JK Rowling
Indiana Jones (all of them but crystal skulls)
Die Hard (all of them but the last one)
Shawshank Redemption, Shag, Super Troopers, Old School, 500 Days of Summer, Jurassic Park, Goonies
MUSIC:like most everyone on here--my tastes are eclectic. I teach dance and take dance so my ears are attracted to things that evoke emotion and are fun to dance to. I really like music with an interesting rhythm so most things are game. It would really be easier to tell you the things I don't like. Jazz--the improvisational kind. I think it sounds messy. And Angry Metal/Angry Rap--it also sounds messy.
FOOD: I will try most anything once. I really enjoy cooking at home and exploring new restaurants. I don't love okra and mussels...that's about it.
TV:Modern Family, Arrested Development, Made, So You Think You Can Dance, It's Always Sunny, Psych, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, The Office, The Soup, Criminal Minds, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, the Daily Show, Last Week Tonight, and Top Chef
You should message me if you don't mind that I am a terrible speller, but don't mind the hypocrisy that I'm judgy about bad spelling. You should also make a move if you can make me laugh, if you don't mind that I hate reading directions but will insist that you do, and if you are just as happy staying in as going out.
Also, please do not respond if you shorten words like "you" to "u" or "are" to "r" in any communication. It feels lazy and speaks volumes, and I can promise that I am not the only girl who is irked by it. Just go ahead and make the extra effort to type the other two letters. It will pay off in great measure.
