My self-summary
I was inactive for a while but just started using this again!

I believe in always moving forward. I'm a strong believer in continuous education and personal improvement. I'm passionate about my opinions but I am always open minded to a new perspective. I'm looking for someone that pushes me outside of my comfort zone and is looking for someone to do the same for her.

I'm a bit stereotypical Canadian. I play hockey for two teams to keep in shape along with going to the gym when I can around those.

I love doing new things and I'm an active person, both socially and physically, but I know spending a Sunday in bed with someone you care about can be one of life's true pleasures. That being said I'm always up for a spontaneous trip like a hike in beautiful Washington or just exploring somewhere new.

I've traveled some throughout Europe and North America and lived and worked in London for two summers and enjoy swapping travel stories. I'm definitely looking for ideas for my next adventure and would love suggestions.
What I’m doing with my life
I moved from Toronto to Seattle in fall 2010 to become a grown-up and start a career. I gave up on the grown-up part mostly, but I did fall in love with Seattle's beer, coffee, music, traffic, and beer. I've got a solid group of friends here from Canada, but I'm hoping to prove that this Seattle Freeze business is nonsense and connect with some new people.
I’m really good at
I can promise sparkling conversation for like, an hour to an hour and a half at least. After failing about a dozen times to start, I finally have the art of making a good omelette down pat. Thanks, Jamie Oliver. I can tread water for a crazy long time. I'm bendy, in the joints sense of the word.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've heard my goofy smile most of the time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a big Michael Lewis fan. I'm into books that can teach me something. Recently have been reading World War Z and The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks. I'm hoping those aren't teaching me anything for necessity sake.

In regards to movies I really can be up for almost every genre depending on the mood and the quality of the flick. It's fun to laugh at terribly bad movies even in a certain mood.

Workaholics, It's Always Sunny, South Park, The League and any other goofy comedies. A bit addicted to The Walking Dead, which does it's best to fill the never ending hole left by Breaking Bad and had a guilty pleasure in burning through HIMYM episodes, but now I just feel like it's a chore and I can't stop this far in.

Music - everything live. I love music festivals of all kinds. Have done Coachella, Sasquatch and then most recently Freaknight in the last year and a bit. In regards to artists, I'm all over the place. Nostalgically a Blink-182 fan, presently more into instrumental based music like 65daysofstatic or Explosions in the Sky and some EDM at the gym and before sports. I'm kind of all over the place.

My favorite food is definitely Italian. A Caprese salad, some red wine, and a hearty pasta and you're looking at getting to second base at least.
Six things I could never do without
Good family and friends. A warm pub with cold beer and good company. Calvin and Hobbes. Travelling. Hockey.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Shouldn't "Awful" be better than "Awesome"?
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the friday. Typically beginning my weekend adventure with friends, from hiking to a weekend of crawling the city.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I just got my first car! I feel like I might have put that off for a bit too long.
You should message me if
who are we kidding, we all know I'm going to have to do the messaging as the guy right?
