My self-summary
I believe life is what you make of it. Like Legos, only with a greater variety of shapes and colors, and no instructions. I mean, who really follows the instructions on Legos anyway, though, right? I mean, you might try to at first, but then you just try to make it look like the picture on the box. And then maybe you don't even do that, you just start putting them together to make whatever you feel like. Also, life doesn't hurt as much to step on with bare feet. Also life doesn't come from Denmark. I mean, sometimes life comes from Denmark, but only for the Danes.

OK, life is almost nothing like Legos. Still: what you make of it.
What I’m doing with my life
Like everyone, breathing until I can't - and therefore trying to make the most of the time I've got.

More immediately: Lots of things! I manage the office at a local high school, and I fill the rest of my time with friends, projects, and art. I'm involved with several local theatre groups, and am really having a good time writing my first (ridiculous) musical with an old friend.
I’m really good at
Drawing, making grilled cheese sandwiches, whistling, making lists of things I'm really good at, and making people feel appreciated.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told it's my smile.

Six things I could never do without
my cat
my guitar
harmlessly breaking arbitrary rules or guidelines
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Adventures to plan, stories to write, people I care about.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I own more tiki mugs for display purposes than actual drinkware to drink from.
You should message me if
Message me if you believe life is about more than working until you can drink and then drinking until you must work.

Message me if you create things to make yourself happy: stories, knitting, poetry, voodoo dolls, dirty limericks - whatever!

Message me if you don't have all the answers or even all the questions, but enjoy looking for both.

If a trip to the zoo and a night at the opera both sound like fun, message me.

Message me if you can still enjoy being childlike without feeling childish.

Message me if you are not ashamed of who you are or afraid of being happy.

Message me if your cat accidentally walks across the keyboard creating a series of random vowels, consonants, and symbols and you think it would just be funny to send it anyway.

For a good time, message me.
