My self-summary
Imagine if you will: A cowboy on the dusty trail. He's ruggedly handsome. Tough and assertive. A real man's man. Someone who doesn't take crap from anybody... That's not me.

I'm more like his traveling companion. The goofy, awkward comic relief. A real Don Knotts meets Chris Farley. Its much more interesting, in my opinion.

Beyond that, I love laughing and making people laugh.
World domination was once a life goal, but its a lot of work. Now I'll settle for a continent. Just not Australia. Dingoes eat babies, you know.

I write and am working on a few things at the moment. Its something that I do for personal enjoyment-- though I won't lie and say I don't hope to have a screenplay produced someday.

Cooking. I like it. Plus I totally get to eat it when I'm done.

I am a comic book fan. Big whoop. Wanna fight about it?
What I’m doing with my life
I am a baker, but I spend a lot of my time honing my stand up routine. Also, that writing thing. In other words, I'm a creator.

Conversely I do have the altruistic goal to rule the world in a fiery inferno. Trust me, its for the best.
I’m really good at
Excelling in awkward situations.

Useless trivia. I challenge you to duel of knowledge!

I am also very good at being loud when I should be quiet. Don't take me to a library.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor.

My penchant for puns and wordplay (I surround myself with intelligent and observant folks, you see).

My smile. I tend to smile a lot. Its contagious.

I also talk with my hands. Its safe outside a 5 foot radius. Otherwise, you might find your self the recipient of an inadvertent karate chop.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books are great. I enjoy a wide range. I am currently caught up with the song of ice and fire series, and am patiently waiting for the next installment to come out.

Movies. I was once a movie buff. I have, in recent years, become a little lax in keeping up with them like I used to. My knowledge base consists of classics like Sunset Boulevard and Citizen Kane. I have an irrational infatuation with 80's movies and can quote just about every line from Back to the Future.

Television: Lost, Psych, Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother, I also have a soft spot for Quantum Leap. Time travel and witty dialogue together? Count me in!

Music. I have eclectic tastes. Johnny Cash, The Long Winters, Queen, Beatles, CCR, Ryan Adams, Lonely Island, more than I can list. The bottom line is I listen to stuff that makes me feel something. I try not to limit it to genres.

Food is awesome! Particularly meat (medium or medium rare depending on the relativity of the preparer). I love me some potatoes (mashed, french fried, baked, whatever). I am not opposed to vegetables, but I am a meat and potatoes guy.
Six things I could never do without
food (to live, but more importantly to enjoy)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Monkeys and bears. I find that I can't decide which works better as a comedic device. Monkeys are funny, but bears have seen a resurgence in recent years thanks to Stephen Colbert.

Then there's ideas for scripts. That happens a lot when I'm working on something else.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably asleep. I have to get up at 3am most Saturdays, so there's that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ok, I left this blank forever. Mainly because I didn't want to put the standard "then it wouldn't be private" statement. But OKC taunted me. Told me it was an empty essay just WAITING to be filled out. So now there are words here. Although, nothing private was admitted.

If you read between the lines though, it might suggest that I'm slightly neurotic.
You should message me if
You like to laugh, want to discuss the finer points of lost. If you like comic books. Also if you like cheese.
