My self-summary
Fairly decent chap, independent, organised, open minded and down to earth. Trying to be a good person, as corny as it sounds. "You give what you get".. and get what you give.. that kind of thing. Probably happiest when I'm active, or doing something creative, or when I'm down by the coast.. or in fact generally when I'm catching up with great friends and family. Like to have a positive outlook on life, helped by a strong sense of humour.

Love trying new things and saying 'yes' as often as possible, believing life can serve you up some nice surprises when you put yourself out there. Can also see the value of recharging batteries though so I'm equally no stranger to chilling out when the time calls.

Here to see if I can find other like-minded people, and who knows maybe even that special someone to share the ride with.
What I’m doing with my life
Recently into yoga, swimming, fixing coffee machines, picking recipes from random cookbooks, seeing live comedy and learning to play the violin. During the day I work in Soho at a visual effects company where I'm a web developer. I've also started to learn more about the actual design side of things which is great.
I’m really good at
Tennis, dancing, flipping a pancake.. those sorts of things involving co-ordination are the things I'm good at. Pretty good with computers too and enjoy using them for creative things like photo / video editing. I'm told I'm a good listener, can make people laugh, can choose great gifts, and some cupcakes I made once were described as 'mean', but I think this was meant as a compliment.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Love a good film, even just down to the occasion of watching one. I love finding new places to watch them like old cinemas or new rooftop places. Old favourites include Back to the Future, The Shawshank Redemption, Good Will Hunting and American Beauty. Recent ones off the top of my head include Drive, District 9, Gravity and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Don't watch a lot of live TV (well, except Gogglebox if I'm in, but who doesn't) but hooked on the usual great US/UK dramas and comedies, e.g. Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Black Mirror and Inside No. 9. From the past we're talking things like Alan Partridge, Black Adder, The Office, Spaced etc.

Like quite a wide mix, in fact probably everything besides heavy metal, whatever that means. At the moment I'm listening a lot of The National, Muse, Alt-J, Foals, Bon Iver and The xx. I'm also really into music used in films.

Still really impressed with 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' and how it was translated, especially the use of the stage and how that 'transforms' etc. 'Book of Mormon' I found really funny, and that probably says a lot about how far my sense of humour stretches.

I like everything. Except celery. Unless of course there's houmous available for dipping, then it's all fine.
Six things I could never do without
Hot drinks
Contact lenses
Good shoes
Trips to the coast
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Setting up a local cinema, trips to the coast, learning to play more instruments, taking dance classes, how I really need to sort the garden out before it turns into a jungle.. all sorts.
You should message me if
If any of the above sounds good, it'd be great to hear from you.
