Most of my life has been focused on building up networks of strong friendships. I really enjoy people and don't have a specific type. I have a big heart and am honest, affectionate, and sensitive and not shy about sharing how I feel. My hope is to find someone who is emotionally settled, around my age, and single. And... a crazy sense of humor, a quirky side, honesty, authenticy, and patience would be great too.
I have a son in second grade who I love like crazy. I've been divorced/separated for 7+ years. I'm pretty settled with myself and my life and would love to meet someone now as I'm in a good space.
I find something interesting about almost everyone I meet. I am really curious and always up for learning something new. I read a lot, love good conversation and consider intelligence sexy. I've lived in Boston, NYC,LA, and ultimately San Francisco...moved both for school and work over the years. I've also traveled in Peru, Turkey, Russia, Italy and Spain. My parents are East Coast transplants with some Italian blood and, along with my siblings, I'm passionate and like to express my opinion. I don't care if you've traveled or not, as long as you are passionate about something and curious and nice.
I love the outdoors. I've done a few boundary water canoe trips and hiked in the Rockies. I led camping trips for freshman while in college and have also been lucky enough to hike in Denali and Mt. Rainier. It's been a long time since I've been able to go on a true camping trip but do enjoy skiing (both kinds) and generally being outside.
So, that's it. Let me know if anything sparks your interest.
Isn't this the same as the previous question?
Movies - Almodovar, Woody Allen, James Bond, Pixar, Cohen Brothers, Bridesmaids, and almost anything except the action films with lots of guns a la Schwarzenheger. When I lived in LA, I saw movies all the time and really miss this now that my tie is more limited as a mom.
Music - The Replacements, Prince, Neil Young, Jack White (and all his bands), John Prine, Soul Asylum, Lyle Lovitt, and more..
Food - love to go out to eat, like all cuisines...restaurants - Victory 44, Muffaletta, Scenic Cafe outside of Duluth, Sanctuary, and lots of others
- writing a sitcom or one hour drama that encapsulates my dark side in a funny way
- Raising my son well
- plans to be made to get together with friends who live in other states and here in town.
Sometimes, I have a sitter and get a drink after work wtih friends or go to an early movie. Saturday nights, I'm more likely to go out.
You are divorced or single and close to my age
You are stable in your life - have an income and emotionally settled.
