My self-summary
I'm warm, inquisitive, eclectic ...
Mental stimulation is important; humor is indispensable.
Fortunate to have had a happy childhood and a colorful extended family: Irish & English on one side, Italian-Swiss on the other. Interested in the world, people, & the places where psychology & spirituality meet.

I'm grateful for this interesting, fulfilling, challenging life.
In various incarnations I've been a political consultant, teacher
(K-college), writer, graphologist, sales manager, Right-Brained lawyer-turned-mediator, caregiver & free spirit. (Read Studs Turkel's book, "Working", & wanted to do it all.) (And see it all: I'm quite well-travelled. Indonesia's my favorite.) Berkeley & Mill Valley have been influential, but any number of No.California places could work for me. Hilo's my heaven (or nirvana).

On the Myers-Briggs test I'm an ENFP/INFP (The Journalist/Idealist): borderline extrovert/introvert, intuitive, feeling, perceiving. If this tool had been devised earlier you can be sure I would've steered clear of that adversarial career ... How about you?? I love this test & will be very interested in hearing your results.

First and foremost we're friends who relish each other's company.
Love reading together (maybe writing together as well), film, travel, art, cultural explorations, museums & galleries, the outdoors (hiking, swimming, snorkeling with the local sea turtles). Enjoy Scrabble & crosswords (done w/ a pencil). Bantering, brainstorming & laughter.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Magazines: New Yorker, Psychology Today, Kiplinger's, Newsweek
