My self-summary
Update 9/2013: Working, Moved out of crazy roommate situation to my own place, and loving it! Ready to meet new people and see what happens.

I'm a student of life, and people... I'm at a crossroads in my life, changing course to be doing what I was supposed to be doing, and not the job I fell into after HS. I like to see the best in people, and see them achieve their dreams. I love making people happy, however the means, and love to make people laugh. In my group of friends, I sort of become the defacto comedian most nights out. After working in the corporate world, I see myself helping people in some capacity, wherever I land. Fortunately I saved so now I have the opportunity to plan the next part of my life. I believe in being honest with people, and don't like liars or fakes. Although I am not currently in a relationship, I am looking at polyamory in a new light (i dabbled in it before, but it wasn't right then) and have a better view of it. Not really set on a poly relationship, but it does intrigue me. Oh, and I'm a REALLY good kisser. (I have affidavits).

I am funny, intelligent, and passionate. Definitely a little geeky, but I have manners and tact too :)
What I’m doing with my life
Worked in the entertainment software industry for the first 15 working years of my life, and no longer am fulfilled by it. Looking to use my people skills and my desire to help to do just that. Ideally I'd like to be a counselor or in time, a therapist.

Aspirations of being a writer, an actor. Haven't tapped my creative side enough..
I’m really good at
Trivia (movies, music, tv, history, NAME IT), grammar, spelling, (I love words).
Kissing. (really)
Talking to people I don't know and making them feel welcome (as I'd like to feel).
Given compassion to others without losing myself in their problems.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a big guy. Not huge, and I'm working on it for my own health reasons, but it's just the truth :)

I have long hair. I just cut off about 18" of it and donated it to Locks of Love (2nd time I've done this)
Update: It's short(er) again! Cut it after moving to Oakland cause I couldn't handle the heat. In less than 6 months, it's getting pretty long again, however.

My smile and my laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Where do you begin??

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to achieve my dreams and goals.

People I care about, and sending them good energy. But not obsessing.

That I DON'T need to keep looking at Twitter and Facebook. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
At home watching movies, or out with friends.. Depends on the weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've recently admitted to myself and several of my close friends that I'm Bisexual, and I'm not afraid to admit it anymore. If people judge me, then they don't need to have an influence in my life anyways.

All it means is that given the right circumstances, I could see myself dating more than one gender (there are many)..

It is the most freeing thing that I've done in a long time.
You should message me if
You like to have fun, Like to talk, Like to laugh, Like to go out and do things (not ready for hiking yet, sorry).
You like to road trip or travel!
You like to kiss, well.
You are caring, kind, not jaded, and proud of who you are.
You like to giggle at silly things.
You aren't of the mindset that marijuana is an evil. It's natural, after all. But using it from time to time doesn't make me a junkie or irresponsible either. (In fact it's legal for me).

You don't mind a big guy who is working on getting himself to where he wants to be, physically and mentally. And I'm getting better and feeling better everyday. But not in a rush.

You don't like Jay Leno or Sarah Palin.
